Great spot for both ambiance and food. The person who took my order was a new employee and still learning the ropes but helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the tacos (especially the pork carnitas) which you can customize the protein and condiments. The salsa bar has a variety of salsas, marinated onions, pickled peppers, and lemon and lime wedges. The dining area is colorful and pleasant. There's also a bar for cocktails, beer, and wine. Will definitely check the happy hour next time!

10/8/2022i recently moved in walking distance of Felipe's Kenilworth over a year, My Huband & I went for the 1st time 4 weeks ag0. Since then, I have been there 2 more times. Plenty of parking and the staff awesome, GREAT MENU. I have seen Chelsea (mgr) & Gabby on previous visits, always on their A game. Pleasant, Friedly etc., but today, I had the opportunity to actually interact with these 2 employees and they were great, friendly, accommodating, things we want that lacks so much in many restaurants. Not only were these young ladies attentive but each time I've been there they have made me feel they appreciate my business. But I cannot leave without mentioning an honor to another back house manager Ramon who was nice enough to come up front and explain a Mexican soup that my friend spoke about that I never heard of. Being from Mexico he declared there was such a soup, was kind enough to explain the origin etc.. with pride. They don't carry that soup but gave suggestions will keep in my notes. The jest, this place is convenient (Kenilworth shopping center) Been there 3 times within 2 weeks, great service , GREAT employees & really good prices especially if you do their 3-6 pm happy hour. Great for family dinner, couples or a small group seeking a fun relaxed place in Towson. To Upper Management Chelsa, Ramon & Gabby are an asset to your business. keep UP THE GOOD WORK,You wrote

Nice place! We sat outside, they bring your food to the table after you order inside. 3 to 6 pm is happy hour! Corn or flour tortillas. Yum!Vegetarian options: They have grilled veggies for taco filling.

Came here for a Saturday happy hour with my sister and her friends! My sister raved about this place and she was not wrong! On a warm November afternoon we sat on the patio and enjoyed some margaritas and tacos! You place your order inside and they bring it out to you! The chicken tacos were delicious and the margaritas yummy and strong! The prices are worth it. Service was top notch. A bit of a drive for me but I would come back!

High quality food. Tacos are smaller size but super delicious. Staff lovely. Easy and quick to order there.

THE BEST HAPPY HOUR AROUND!! Yes, I said it! From 3pm-6pm everyday you can get $5 margaritas and taco specials. The frozen margaritas are hands down the better option because you only need 1 to start feeling nice. The tacos are customizable and are packed with flavor! The chef, (I was told his name was Marquis), gets all the credit! Best street tacos around! The service is great! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. There are regulars who come in, who will chat with you if you're up for it. The bartenders are friendly and clearly LOVE their jobs. Great place for a girls or boys night. They also have a big flat screen to watch sports.

Quality is okay. Quantity has gotten noticeable smaller. They stopped with the chips being included with your meal a while back but now the portions are being slimmed down dramatically. Burrito bowls (and I’m sure other meals) went from three tacos being included down to two. Rice was undercooked (not the first time). Chicken Tinga has changed and the meat portion(s) have also been scaled back. We live in the area and have eaten at this restaurant several times since they’ve opened. Unfortunately, the quality/quantity has been trending down ever since.

My 1st time here. The happy hour was great. You have to go to the bar to order. Food is fresh and delicious. Shout out to Ramon the manager he came to our table to just check on service. All the staff was awesome.

One of the best happy hours 3-6 in the entire Baltimore region. $5 hand made margaritas (not pre-made mix), $2 tacos! What's not to love. Food is fresh, service is on top of things and the drinks are awesome. I really like the salsa bar as well. From extremely hot to, well kind of hot. This is a great place to take an early Thursday or Friday afternoon from work and enjoy. We love it and will be back again very soon.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food! The queso was some of the best I’ve ever had! The patio has a very nice ambiance, and my friend and I enjoyed an excellent meal. The employees there are all so nice and engaging, but I have to give a special shout out to Manager Chelsea. She checked on us multiple times throughout our meal and made sure everything was going smoothly. That kind of service - and the delicious food, of course - is why I will be going back time and time again to enjoy!

Went for Happy Hour with 4 others and it was very confusing as to where or how you got your drink, so we just stood up at the bar and waited forever to be waited on by the bartender. The place had a crowd. No one comes to the tables for drink orders. Then you go to another line and order and pay separately for your food and they bring that to you. In the food line they didn't ring in the happy hour taco prices and the manager had to re-ring my order. When I went to check out at the bar, he didn't give me happy hour prices again and the same manager had to fix that check. The food is good, but there is no communication between the bar and the kitchen. It is almost like they operate as separate businesses. I don't think I would pick Felipe's for a group Happy Hour again. Too confusing and not relaxing.
