“Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion. In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate. I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain. Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel. I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh. You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well. Whenever we’re in the area, this is our spot.Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian then the escovitch dish is a good option for you“
“First time here! They didn't have Jerk chicken so I ordered Curry Chicken instead with rice & Mac&Cheese. The mac&cheese wasn't bad but I can tell it was sitting for a min. It was a lil burnt, I'm guessing from them reheating. If they can get that together, they'll be good“
“GTA star rating is 4. Definitely be Careful when entering the block but things are getting better. Authentic Jamaican taste and heat. The $10-13 portions are loaded up which is enough to have your stomach full. My jerk pork was moist and had a wet sauce. This place is everything you expect from a authentic Jamican carry out. I will be back to try more dishes“
“Been coming here since they were first located on Greenmount and 33rd. I've had pretty much all their food and was never disappointed. The portions are worth the money. Be prepared to fall asleep afterwards. Grab the large plate and you'll be full all day. The jerk chicken with rice and peas with some cabbage is my go to and add some extra gravy. The staff has changed but the service has always been cool.“

“I've only ordered here one time. I ordered the oxtails with peas and rice and plantains. Hmm not the best but ok. I'd suggest cooking the oxtail until tender (fall of the bone) Too tough for me. Oxtails should be tender not tough and chewy. Portion of the oxtail meat was very small portion. Not worth the price. I may try them one more time because i love oxtails and hope for a better experience!“
