The service is always great! They are a wonderful locally owned restaurants. If you don't see a roll you like they will make it for you. Bring some cash to tip the sushi chefs

Amazing establishment. Great service and fresh sushi every time. We always bring our friends and family to Kyodai when they visit

Kyodai is one of the best sushi bars around. It's really quick and convenient with it being a rotating bar. The owner Tony is so friendly and accommodating. It's a trus shame they are closing at the end of this month. Towson is loosing one of my favorite sushi spots.

My favorite sushi place to visit with a rotating bar! The restaurant decor is nice and makes me feel like I’m in Japan having sushi and not just Towson. Rotating bar is a fun vibe. The owner seems nice and service has always been quick and they’re very attentive! There’s street parking available and they also validate if you park in the garage next door.

Great ? sushi! Excellent service, been here many times and it's a Towson favorite. The fish has always been fresh and flavorful. They also have menu service if needed.

This place is great if you're looking for strictly imitation crab, tempura shrimp, or tuna. That's it.. Pretty disappointed. They do offer a menu that you can get other rolls on, but kinda defeats the purpose of the restaurant concept

Not the best sushi, but if you just want to say you've tried a rotating sushi then bar go for it.The food is okay and way over priced. This an Americanized place, so they're making rolls, not actual sushi.Nothing impressed me, it was very basic stuff like tuna, tuna avocado, shrimp tempura, shrimp tempura avocado, salmon, salmon avocado, crab stick, shredded crab stick, shredded crab stick shrimp tempura, philly roll, and such

Not a bad revolving sushi spot - the sushi offered on the conveyor belt is pretty standard, with a lot of emphasis on variations of california and shrimp tempura rolls. If you want more complex, specialty rolls or nigiri/sashimi, you'll have to place an order with the server. The special order rolls we got weren't rolled very well unfortunately and disintegrated right after we picked up a piece with the chopsticks. Service was a bit of a miss - it was hard to flag down our server at times so we had to place our orders with other workers walking around. One thing of note was that they kept moving our wine glasses around the table without saying anything to us. Literally would reach behind us (we were seated at the bar) and move the glasses around to make sure we wouldn't accidentally knock it off the table. While I understand that they were just trying to prevent any broken glasses, it was a bit odd that it happened multiple times without any forewarning to us. If they were so worried, they should have communicated with us so we could be more mindful of where to place the glasses. While the experience itself was not bad, the babying we received about the wine glasses did take away from the overall experience.

Was recommended by a Facebook friend. Decided to come in and fry it out. The service was great, the atmosphere was calming, food was AMAZING.

Solid quality food and and a great, friendly environment. Maybe not the first choice if you’re looking for high-end sushi, but you’ll have a nice time, eat good food and not spend that much.

Probably the only rotating sushi bar within many miles... attentive staff; separate bills possible; gluten free options; very Covid compliant; neat and clean eating spaces; decent fresh sushi selection.

I used to love this place 10 years ago in college, but after going again a couple nights ago, it was pretty disappointing..*As others have noted, there is a VERY poor variety of sushi on the conveyor belt. The chefs just kept adding more of the same stuff (literally just spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, shredded crab stick, and Philadelphia rolls). My friends and I waited patiently for new things to show up, but they never did. It was a little embarrassing, since I had talked of how much I had loved this place.*I finally went ahead and just asked the chef for a few things I remembered that they used to make back when I would visit all the time and they kindly obliged, but that takes some of the novelty out of it being "rotating sushi". Also, since they have raised prices (understandably), if I am just going to order, I may as well go to the sushi restaurant across the street and get a full roll (rather than 4 pieces).*Kyodai is still a very clean, stylish, fun restaurant with kind service. Perhaps if you are not a big sushi fan, but just want the conveyor belt experience, this may be great for you.Sadly, I think this was my last visit, but I treasure the happy memories I have from years ago.

The staff, food, and ambiance is literally what you would expect from a restaurant! Thank you so much for one of my best dinning experiences ever ???❤️
