Hire more employees. You have people waiting in line for an hour to order, because there are only two employees and one is delegated to online orders only. Several people waited in line only to leave after being frustrated with the long wait. Horrible service and poor work environment for your employees.Also, my husband came in a week prior to my visit today. They were all out of brownies and sweet cream ice cream. They also had delivery drivers demanding they cancel order on their end that they were not able to fulfill. Please be mindful of what’s requested most frequently, plan and staff accordingly.

Came in here the other day, saw nothing but actual disappointment. I feel like every coldstone location in Maryland has to be terrible. I went to the Ellicott Location a couple weeks ago and it was NOT good. It seems that this location is not any better. I went with my daughter and son because we were in the area. The workers clearly do not want to be there, management clearly not there. No help whatsoever with the line. Coldstone is terrible.

I swear this had to be the worst experience I’ve ever received at this location. My day was extraordinary until I walked into this ice cream place. I wasn’t in there a 10 seconds before the young lady said, “Do you know what you want? Because I could be doing other things.” I couldn’t believe it because I came in with a smile as I do when I walk into any room. She immediately knew from the look on my face how inappropriate and acutely belligerent she came off to me, because she started to insist that she wasn’t rushing me. I can’t tell!! The ice cream was great, but I gotta say… some people should never work in the customer service/retail field. I’ll be sure not to show up during top of noon to the early evening hours on a weekday. As a matter of fact, I’ll be sure to look for the very patient and nice middle aged lady (possibly a manager) before I walk in again. She has always been a pleasure. I’m from the school of where customer service was paramount. I see nowadays it probably isn’t. So sad.

I stopped by today specifically for the plant based options. Lines are always long. Staff is slow and doesn’t smile or communicate, as if we are doing them a disservice for wanting ice cream. Complete turn off.I asked the bitter young lady behind the counter what flavors were available today and she pointed to a contaminated container of plant based dark chocolate. It had trails of peanut butter ice cream and traces of milk based vanilla. She was annoyed when I asked if there was any available not contaminated, she suggested I wait for her to make others’ orders first before checking.I asked her to check and complete my order first and she quickly returned saying they were all out. She was rude in explaining their allergen protocols. I waited for my husband’s order and I walked out embarrassed at her treating my food based allergy like I was being unreasonable, especially since I was trying to order dairy free “ice cream” at an ice cream shop.When I was younger, Cold Stone Creamery was exciting for the entire family and quality customer service was a big deal. Needless to say, I went to MOM’s for some TLC and frozen vegan ice cream.Skip this location unless you have limitless time to burn standing in line like elementary school cafeteria line.Dietary restrictions: Rude and inconsiderate.

Terrible! On a Sunday afternoon and there is only one person doing everything in the store! The line is long and I have been waiting a good 15 or 20 minutes! I am only waiting because I am getting the ice cream for my husband. This is ridiculous!!!

I was visiting this town for the first time on a family vacation, and we decided to come here. The young man working there, a Mexican/Filipino looking fella was quite kind and courteous to me and he made sure I was satisfied with my order. Not only this, but he actually gave me a good amount of ice cream in contrast to other locations I have been too. I definitely would return again!
I’ve only been to this location a handful of times and have never had any odd experiences, but today wasn’t the best. I went in and ordered what I wanted. The lady helping me had kind of a weird attitude. I ask if o could have the brownie sprinkled in, and she asked if I wanted it on top or mixed in, and I said on top is fine. She gave me a big brownie lump on top (I didn’t realize this is what she meant). Then I asked if it would be possible for the brownie to be chopped up, and she kind of has an attitude and says “I didn’t know if you wanted it mixed in or on top”, which I wouldn’t have minded one or the other, she just never mentioned that it would be a big thick giant piece on top. To add onto all of this, there is a huge puddle of water on the floor with no “Wet Floor” sign. I warned the employees about this, and they all ignored me and acted like I didn’t exist. Just trying to protect the establishment from a potential lawsuit, but okay. It also seems like almost every other customer has had similar experiences with this particular location based off of the reviews. Bad attitudes and continuous wet floors with no wet floor sign. I went in on 8/27 around 2:15

The young men working werenice enough. But the condition of the store is poor. There was water leaking everywhere. The display case was filthy and the front display case was open from the back facing the door I really enjoy coldstone but the conditions was horrendous. That is my last visit to that store.

My experience Sunday evening Sept 3rd, 2023 was absolutely horrendous. The customer service was horrible, horrible, horrible. The worker making my ice cream threw a disrespectful fit because my family member wanted to add another order, which was a small coffee ice cream. The wait time was 30 minutes. The store smells like old milk and all of the glass windows are smeary. They don’t even care!!! Before we got to the front after waiting 30 minutes, I heard the guy (spanish/Hawaiian looking) tell the other workers that he wanted to get fired and didn’t care about working there. There is absolutely no professionalism, no Courtesy, no manners, no smiles, and no hustle. They don’t even care that the lines are out the door and it’s sad.

Then the cashier seemed irritated once I walked up to order and made another employee help me. Never again will I come back to this store!
