1st time trying this establishment this past weekend. No frills or ambiance more of a carry out environment. I ordered the 4 piece whiting dinner with 2 sides (greens and potato salad). The fish and potato salad were amazing but the greens were spoiled with a slime texture and smelled really bad. Pic included makes it hard to see the slime but it's there.

Ugh where do I start, Avoid. Greens were slimy and funky. They were definitely old. When I put my fork in it and took it out literal slime. Yams were terrible and potato salad was warm. The fish was not friend hard and was soggy by the time I got home. I hope I don’t get sick. They have to be serving old food. I’d rather go to hip hop chicken and get fish.

Never again!!! Paid $23.75 for 4 wingetts (not wings as described online), two small dried out pieces of whiting - when did y’all start doing shady stuff? Paid for the meal, tip plus tax it was $29.36 for absolute TRASH! The potato salad tasted like it’s been sitting in the refrigerator for a week and their sweet potatoes were mediocre. Y’all was all that back when you was on H street with the line hanging out the door down the sidewalk! What happened?! So disappointed - y'all should be ashamed! Please do better.

My family and I brought crabcake dinner and sandwiches. It was the worst not a lump anywhere look more like (PURÉE) something. No smell, or taste put on a roll with nothing else tartar sauce had no taste and wasn’t given any cocktail sauce. Was the worst crabcake that I’ve ever brought nothing like the food that used to be served on 8th St., Northeast Will not recommend crabcake at all. Will not go back ??????

I use to visit the store in DC. I was very disappointed in the crabcakes purchased. It said lump crab cake. I don't know what the so called crabcakes were made of. This is my last time going to this store. The services was great, the crabcakes were not good at all. It was 3 of use and we all felt the same way about the crabcakes.

So I was in the mood for some fish and I remembered that Horace and Dickies had a spot over in Waldorf so I decided to stop in. Did you know that it's a bar in here??? You know I had to get the scoop for us! It's open to 12 every night. They got 8 tvs, 7 booths, 4 table tops with stools and of course the bar. They got brunch every other Saturday with unlimited mimosas and the traditional breakfast food such as shrimp and grits, waffles, French toast, eggs and more. Seems to me that it's expanded more than just fish!! The waiter was attentive to the small crowd that was there so that's a plus. Expect that if you order via the app, to wait an additional time outside of the suggested time of pickup but no worries cause it was fresh and hot! Everything was good and I'll def be back for brunch!

I'm big on smells. This establishment and the packaging, bag- food container, and even the napkins smell like old dead fish. The fish tasted old, coleslaw too loose and liquidity, and the cornbread was hard and dry. I tried to speak with someone over the phone about this, but they were rude, so I am putting it on open forum.

The food is extremely bland. Did find any seasonings in the food. I don’t use hot sauce but I used 4 packs on the fish. Greens tasted like they were cooked in water only. It seems like the chef is scared of

This location does not seem to care about receiving customers. I tried placing an order starting at 7:00 p.m. and never got an answer to my phone calls. So instead I place an order online. Once I went into the location to pick up my order they said there was no coleslaw so I substituted it with mac and cheese. After picking up my order I noticed that my drink was not in my bag. I immediately started calling and yet nobody picked up the phone. Eventually the phone stopped ringing as if somebody took it off of the line or turned it off. This is horrible customer service and I need a refund
