My friends and I have been coming to Johannson’s for a long time and have not been disappointed yet. Several times a year we come here to celebrate someone’s birthday and this trip was for me. My usual burger and a few oysters were as good as always, but was also surprised to see a newly renovated and redesigned bar area, to now include a wood fired pizza oven. I tried to go in here last night and the bouncer was very rude to me telling me that Id was fake and that he wasnt gonna let me in just because my license is faded a little bit. I had to show him my debit card to match the name on the license in my opinion it's a good bar but I dont appreciate the bouncer telling me that my drivers licesne is fake.

This bar hasn't been updated in years and it shows. Pool tables r disgusting, arcade games r antiques, & the general cleanliness is concerning. The bartenders seemed decent and the bouncers did their jobs, but I wouldn't waste my hard earned $ here very often. No tabs started, they're Cash Only. A huge interior overhaul might make the prices worth it, other than that, it's a local watering hole (in the wall).
