Superb experience! I long to return and support this beautiful, black-owned business. Our host was knowledgeable, humorous and a delight to listen to (and look at). Unfortunately, the Little Miner Taco food truck that was scheduled to be there during our visit cancelled. Nevertheless, we had a good time. The rum is smooth, potent and tasty, a quality product. Our mixologist was so cool. She made me a custom cocktail that was my favorite color. It was infinitely "instagrammable"! I will definitely be back with a group to join me.

I really like this place. I hate we didn't come sooner. The co owner was very knowledgeable as he took us on the tour and explained everything fro. Start to finish, with some humor, which my husband and I very much enjoyed. The female bartender was AMAZING her drink creations and suggestions. I absolutely love how it's tucked away and not super crowded. We will definitely come back. It was such a great experience with super friendly staff. ☺️

I'm loving this distillery! I arrived in the evening and was greeted by the bartender who was super friendly. The space is very clean and decorated really cute. I had a few drinks. I recommend the Lemon Drop Liquor chilled it was really good. I also had the Fruit Punch Daiquiri. It also was really good and got me buzzed fa sure. They had a taco food truck outside and the food was good to help soak up the drinks. Who doesn't love a taco !

Just an incredible experience all around! Local, family, veteran, and black owned. The service was amazing for the brunch event and it was very family friendly with Santa Claus and a photographer onsite for pictures. The rum is crafted onsite and was absolutely delicious; you can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails and the Pineapple Painkiller? . Run not walk here you won’t be disappointed! I look forward to returning soon it was the worth the drive from DC.

Do yourself a favor and visit Copper Compass. The facility is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The customer service is top tier and the drinks are phenomenal. It’s a great place to hang and watch a game or to host an event. We had a small gathering for my husband’s birthday and all of our guests loved Copper Compass.
I’m pretty neutral on rum most of the time, but the rum they distill here is great! They use it to make a lot of cocktails that traditionally take other alcohols, so even if you’re not a big rum drinker you’ll probably find something to suit your palate.

Great atmosphere and drinks! The staff was friendly, and they have food trucks available on the evenings they're open. My girlfriends and I met up for drinks after hearing about this place on social media, and we were not disappointed. They have a lot of events listed on their website as well. We'll definitely be going back for the Candle Making Workshop and Paint & Sip.
