“I love this restaurant, it’s great, staff is nice, and the environment is kept nice and clean. I highly recommend going for the Big Box, as it serves any burger thee want in it, 2-piece fried chicken, any side dish of thy choice, and lastly comes with a drink. Food will always be fresh, nice, and warm. Chicken is crispy and hot. Their spicy chicken sandwich is great along with the sauce that it has in it is great, has a splendid kick to it. In essence, I highly recommend this restaurant, easy 5-stars.”

“I like this Dunkin, but I had to take a star off because they are very inconsistent with the drinks. I come here a few times a week and sometimes my drinks are perfect and sometimes they’re lacking. When I get iced coffee there’s either too much or not enough cream even though I order the same amount every time, or perfect sweetness or not nearly enough. I literally order the same thing but it’s always different, unfortunately. Even the lemonade tea is not consistent. Got it last week with added liquid cane and it was perfect. Got it this week the same exact way and it was watery, barely any lemonade flavor, and not very sweet at all.”

“I used to HATE Papa John’s. I was Pizza Hut for life. Now it is all Papa John’s all day for me. Whenever I want pizza that is. I always get the stuffed crust with steak and green peppers. So much better than Pizza Hut stuffed crust. My girlfriend gets her own style Hawaiian pizza with chicken, she loves it so much. Apparently it’s all in the way the pineapple is prepared, and they do it with perfection. Today they showed me that it’s not only the pizza that’s perfect. It is the people too.

I have never been in before, I had the pizza brought to me every other time. Today was an interesting day to choose to go in. They actually had a system failure. Despite being super stressed out as all online orders came in at once, everyone was so polite to me and welcoming. There was only two people in at the time, and they gave me attention and answered all my questions. While I was waiting, a delivery driver came in, and she helped me purchase an orange soda for my girlfriend. One of the chefs there actually brought my pizzas out for me and put them in my car! I am on crutches, so I just pray for the kindness of strangers when I’m purchasing food stuff. Either that, or I get hot pizza on my chest. Well then, I’m praying it all makes it to the car, lol. Some places won’t even open the door for me when I’m carrying things. Another delivery was being made as I was getting in the car, and the driver/Chef said goodbye to me before getting in her car. This made me feel so awesome, the entire experience was a breeze. I hadn’t even eaten food yet! The pizza was amazing, believe me when I tell you that their sauce and crust has gotten so much better over the years. I wish that there were french fries, and a dessert that was chocolate chip and white chocolate mixed together, along with some ice cream. That would be my ultimate pizza joint. What we have, is as perfect as it can get.

Wheelchair accessibility: I was not on my wheelchair, but I was on crutches. No disability parking, but I can tell that they leave the front parking lot open to ensure customers can reach the front door with ease. The curb was easy to get on and off, I really loved that. There was two doors in case someone needed to go out while I was in. The doors were not heavy! It is so difficult for me to navigate a heavy door, and also the employees just look at you struggling. I was able to walk in and out with no problems.”

For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared salmon, which was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and paired with a refreshing citrus beurre blanc. My companion had the slow-braised short ribs, which practically melted off the bone, served with a rich, velvety mashed potato and roasted root vegetables. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail.

Dessert was equally impressive. The chocolate lava cake, served with a scoop of house-made vanilla bean ice cream, was decadent without being overly rich, striking the perfect balance of sweet and indulgent.

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! “Came to Baltimore first night out to dinner decided to try this place called kechy Pizza co. First off 5 star service the moment we walked in the door . Amazing menu , amazing choices and hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a long time . The food and ingredients were all so fresh and tasted amazing. “Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

“The food was great! The owner explained how he brought food recipes from Afghanistan. Two of us shared the Kabuli Gosht Palau with Kabul eggplant. We also had the pumpkin called Kabul Kaddo that comes with bread. The flavors and freshness of the food are what stand out to me. We also enjoyed the Shugufa (means flower bud in Arabic) tea. It’s a whole pot of tea with a flower in it. It had a subtle flavor and aromatic smell. We ended with an order of Baklava. Everything tastes like it’s from someone’s home and unlike anything I’ve had in a restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The restaurant, though, is small. Make a reservation so you are sure to be seated. The restaurant seems to do a lot of takeout. The business also displays beautiful rugs for sale that adds to the feel of Afghanistan. For me, the experience of eating the food and drinking the tea in this sweet place was calm and comforting.”
