My wife and I enjoy Chipotle quite often... And most experiences at varied locations from Ohio to Maine have been good. Quick and courteous service. food is tasty and plentiful and not too costly. . However we had a recent customer service experience that was NOT acceptable at 410 Center St in Auburn Maine on 4/20/2024 at 12:50pm. My wife noted that the server had given her half a scoop of chicken and asked to round it up. He did so with no issue. This was good service as expected. However it was the cashier that became a huge problem! She charged my wife for extra chicken ( 2nd scoop). My wife said she did not ask for 2 scoops of chicken that the first scoop was half full and just wanted a full scoop. At this point. the cashier RAISED HER VOICE at my wife and said she saw the 2nd scoop and she was going to pay and that was final. And so the cashier did not DO ANYTHING to provide good customer service but to get ANGRY at her. So she was saying to my wife with a RAISED AND ANGRY voice that she was right and my wife the customer was wrong!!! The worst part was she YELLED OUT as my wife when she walked away to NOT COME BACK!!! We simply could not believe she said that to her. Simply Unbelievable!!! And then she hide in the back of Chipotle so you could engage her on her ANGRY Outrageous unprofessional yellout. The yelling to not come back was loud enough for everyone there to hear. And in follow-up, there was NO Manager that stepped forward to make this right. It was for sure a BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE and was completely unacceptable! This cashier was definitely having emotional troubles and should NOT have been allowed to interface with customers. A very sad experience for Chipotle customers... beware what maybe in your future if you visit this location...

We decided to stop here after a first negative experience thinking that we may have caught them at a bad time. It was worse! Filthy, disgusting mess. All tables DIRTY, floor littered and Filthy. Soda area smeared with food debris. Employees behaving like they were at a party in a park, just hanging out, yelling, laughing. Customers were definitely an interruption. If they are that careless I can't trust the food is safe. We love Chipotle in other towns! Never there again!

Literally not only the worst chipotle I’ve ever been too but the work restaurant in general literally food is always bad or messed up, randomly closed all the time, and run out of everything went in and they were out of all protein, cheese, and wraps plus sour cream. Like that’s literally everything they have. -1-10 would never recommend

Walked in to a fully ready and prepared store... except they said they wouldn't wait on anyone in person. You had to place the order online because they were "short staffed". All the food was prepped and 3 staff members were just hanging out doing nothing. Oh, and they were aware the website was down, making it impossible to order online. This store seems to invent new ways of being unprofessional every time I've ever been there. This one tops them all though!!

Always out of ingredients and poor service. I love Chipotle when the food is prepared properly. Had to wait almost 20 minutes for chicken to be cooked..and then didn't eat it because the chicken was under cooked. I've never written a poor review to any restaurant but the service is always bad and they're always out of ingredients.

My chicken was burnt, the rice was uncooked and the guacamole had 0 taste. I am never going to that chipotle again!!???

Food tastes fine, that's not the issue. The customer service was abysmal. Guy who claimed to be the manager was incredibly rude. But let's start with this part of the review. Our order was for my girlfriend who has celiacs disease. We mentioned that. One of the girls working said okay! Went away washed her hands and switched gloves. We asked The "manager" if he could do the same and grab a different tub of cheese so there wasn't any cross contamination. He washed his hands and when he came back he said the cheese was brand new. My girlfriend being cautious asked "so you haven't made any burritos with it?" And he said no. However it was visibly used, so she asked again, which he finally replied with yes he has used it for burritos. She asked him to please get the new cheese from the fridge which he did and he tossed the container onto his station. Loud enough for the people behind us to chuckle at it and pay attention. I just want to make this very very clear. Celiac disease is no joke, allergens are no joke. Yes they are an inconvenience but not for your "manager" who had to wash his hands and use fresh cheese... it's an inconvenience for the people who have it. Even the smallest cross contamination can make someone very sick. We've had decent service at other chipotles in different areas but this one in particular is always abysmal service. I'm not sure if it's a chipotle wide problem to not be trained appropriately on allergens, or staff just doesn't care but this is extremely disappointing. Oh and they charged us for guac on one of our online orders even though they were out. When we asked the "manager" in store he just looked at us for a minute or two before answering. This would be zero stars if I could.

Food was amazing as usual. I got a chicken, rice, bean, lettuce and queso burrito. Kaeya helped me make it like a pro. She was professional, respectful, fast efficient and even washed all the tables in the seating area when we went to sit down, all the while helping incoming customers. I will be returning. The atmosphere gets a 4 for their loud off the wall music docking them a star. I was told it's corporates decision, so that should change. Otherwise great visit.

This place better count its days with the amount of disrespect and lack of care. Seems as if nobody wants to be there in the first place let alone have the audacity to talk to customers with so much attitude. This place should be avoided at all cost until some real management jumps in and does an actual good job of running a business. Not to mention how they suddenly are out of everything in the store almost every time you go, and the mess within it that never gets taken care of.

I usually try to just bite my tongue and move on, but this experience today at chipotle literally has me shaking. I pull up to the drive thru window, and the guy sticks his head out and says “name” and stares at me blankly. He shuffles around the bags before finding mine and handing it to me, and then immediately shuts the window as i’m saying thank you. I pull over to check the bowl as always, because it’s wrong half the time, and no surprise, it was half empty missing cheese and a fork. So i pull around and park, and then i go inside to ask if it can get remade. The woman at the register was very polite, but the man running the drive thru came over and told me to throw it away aggressively, suggesting I was trying to take them both home. I asked if he could toss it, since there is a trash can is right next to the register, opposed to the other one that’s all the way on the other side of the store (which ended up being completely full, btw). He refused and lectured me on how they can t take it over the counter, even though it wasn’t near any food. As i’m waking away, he’s yelling at me about how he’s remaking my food, in front of everyone sitting and eating. I was made to look like I did something wrong, when all i’ve done is mistakenly continue to pay 14 dollars for horrible service and incorrect food. Not impressed, and feel that management needs to be better at training

Ordered a steak burrito, like I always get. The steak looked like it was made a week ago and the rice was crunchy. The staff was nice enough but my burrito was the smallest I ever had gotten at Chipotle, yet it cost me almost $16 for just the burrito. I got home and took a bite, it was the worst tasting burrito that I have ever had at Chipotle. I ended up throwing it away because I didn't trust the taste. Also the guac had zero flavor. Never coming back to this Chipotle again. I wish management would clean this place up with all the terrible reviews, you would think they would care. Oh well, I'm just never going back
