Good prices but horrible wait times to check out. They just don't have adequate staff, and for some reason don't have self-checkout. I avoid the store now except at very quiet times, which is sad because their selection of products is generally good, especially Greek specialties
Market Basket in Biddeford is Top Notch! With a lot of food prices going up with inflation, they have been able to keep their prices on their to-go foods the same. They have a large steak and cheese sandwich that looks like a footlong for $5.99! If you are in a hurry, just call ahead about 30 min prior to pick-up. Years ago we came here and got a Cubano Panini. We loved it and so when we visited this time we went back for another. The experience was less than ideal. The woman behind the counter first said " let me see if I have what I need". It's a deli,if you don't have it slice off some more! Then she had to go back and ask someone what goes in the sandwich.
