It had been a long time since I last got some lobster rolls at the market. Tonight was my grandmother's 80+ birthday and that's what she wanted. The staff was very nice to accommodate her special requests. Thank you and I hope to stop by in good time for another.
I have to admit that I am conflicted about Pool Street Market. Let me start with the inside and then get to the food. The actual store is like a small deli. Very normal and minimalistic spot. Along the wall to your left after entering is the counter where you order your lobster items. The service wasn't the kindest when I visited. It’s my first time working in Maine and was told to check this place out! I owe that person a sandwich! This lobster roll was amazing! I have not had a properly prepared lobster before this, I see what the rage is all about! They cook this lobster perfectly, and place it on the best roll. Right amount of mayo, lettuce, and topped with warm butter. I have a new favorite sandwich!
