Read about these guys on Yelp, of course. Came up from Virginia heading to Presque Isle. Had to detour after landing in Bangor. Basically a shack overhanging the river. A few tables. Awesome lobster roll which is what I had. Love these small places with character. Coming back next time in town.

Great location, tasty food and some days you might actually see an eagle fly. It's a swell small business local spot

Lobster roll & Fish chowder. Turns out to be the cure for anything I ever had wrong. Happy to be different now, thanks to everyone who made it all so nice!♥️ ❄️

This is the place if you are looking for the best lobster roll in Maine. I'll never be able to enjoy lobster anywhere else. Had the lobster roll with an extra roll, and the lobster stew. Arrived when they open so we got the table near the river, but all the tables seem to have a great view regardless. Our waitress Michelle was super friendly and attentative.

Known for their lobster roll and now I know why. Excellent food, excellent service. I loved the window overlooking the river—great view while enjoying my lunch!

EAGLE'S NEST is, hands-down, my new favorite restaurant. Its a small building on the edge of the river packing a huge punch of delicious. The quantity of food matches the quality the cook puts on the plate. Staff members are great! The most impressive fried haddock, shrimp, clams, and scallops I have had in many years.

I was growing up down the road on North Maine Street in the 90s and my mother would always stop here before school to get breakfast and coffee. I had fond memories of this place. I was a creature of habit, and always ordered the same thing, two eggs over easy with a double order of toast. They made the best toast at this place and I loved making little egg sandwiches. 10/10 for customer service and putting up with my double order of toast! Moms since passed but I'll never forget all the great breakfasts we had together! Great local business that should be supported!

Second visit. The lobster rolls are the best!! We found that the seafood platter will easily feed four people. Everyone is always so nice. The service is quick. The atmosphere is busy. They are always full. We plan to visit this place everytime we're in town.
