Not sure what happened to this restaurant, it used to be a reliable place for good Thai, not anymoreTakeout last night was truly awfulScallion pancakes= Triangles of greaseVeggie tempura = rubbery messPad Thai = goopy tasteless noodles with nothing but a few bean sproutsCrispy pad Thai = this was unbelievably bad and was literally those crunchy noodles that come in a can with a bit of pad Thai sauce and a couple of bean sprouts

We were excited to try a new to us Brunswick restaurant and unfortunately we will not be ordering from Bangkok Garden again. We placed an online order at 5:30 for pick up at 6pm. We received an email at 5:39 confirming that Bangkok Garden received our order. My husband arrived a bit after 6pm to pick up our order and they took our order slip back to the kitchen and told him it would be a few minutes. Over 50 minutes later he received his order with a "Sorry for the wait". When we unbagged the food we found that we didn't receive one of our items and were given steamed veggies instead of the salad we had ordered. The food was fresh but lacked flavor, with the exception of the Chee Chu Duck. Maybe we chose the wrong night to order but our food definitely should not have take 90 minutes to make and at the very least, after waiting almost an hour beyond our pick up time, our order should have been correct.

My crispy Pad Thai was very flavorful and it had the perfect texture. The sauce had just the right amount of spiciness.

Delicious food and a peaceful atmosphere with a view of downtown Brunswick. The owners are both so kind and remembered us and a special dish my grandma ordered, more than happy to make it for her again. Good portions for the price, it’s a must every time I visit my home state.Edit: I would also like to share that there are new owners as of 4 months ago, so keep that in mind when seeing poor reviews from before that time. Again, I highly recommend as the new owners go above and beyond!

Save your money, seriously!!! I've eaten here several times over the years and it's always been pretty good, not the greatest but pretty good, and now it's awful. Go to Asian Garden. I know it's not Thai but at least it's fresh and awesome every time! You'd think in the age of covid and increased take-out they'd be scrutinizing the freshness of their food to ensure return customers, not so much here. I don't think this place has ordered produce in weeks! Go to McDs for that matter, at least you know what you're paying for. You might have better luck rummaging through Arby's dumpster.

Incredibly tasty food reasonably priced. Very good and swift service. Extensive menu with each dish having distinctive flavors

My husband and I had lunch here and had a fantastic meal. The service was fast, professional, and friendly. Masks were worn by the staff and other patrons when not seated and we felt safe. The food was exceptionally good. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often.

I love the ginger tofu, spring rolls fresh & fried. I asked for no mushrooms & sub carrots, missing carrots but no mushrooms so I survived. Some of the best Thai around!!

NEW OWNERSHIP, likely Chinese, they don't speak Thai, and the food is no longer anything even close to thai food. If you know thai food, you will not be happy.

How these people are in business is beyond me. I called to place an order, at which time they told me they are only accepting cash, but I can order online. I had already been to their website, which had no online ordering tool. But hey, why not have TWO websites? One for ordering and the other for whatever not ordering is. So I finally find the right site, fill out my order, put in my credit card information and it tells me my card got declined. Ok, maybe I typo'd a number, so I went to fix it, at which time my credit card notification tells me i've been charged $35. Maybe it went through? The page in front of me says otherwise. There is no proof or ordering, still saying that my card got declined. So I call and they tell me they can't help me. They won't honor my payment. A legitimate business would have been able to see I was charged and they should honor it. It would have been my first time eating their food but now I know there won't be a first time.

We have been coming here for YEARS and bragged about how it is the best Thai food in Maine. Apparently they are under new ownership, and the food has turned absolutely repulsive. The same meal I have gotten for years is now untouchable as it tastes like it was whipped up out of a can. They keep claiming that their credit card machine is out of order, and that it is cash only (AFTER we had already ordered and began to eat). On top of this, the gift card that we purchased a few months ago is apparently no longer valid, even though it is the same restaurant. There goes all that money! Do not waste your time here - seek other Thai food.

Our food was lukewarm, the pineapple chicken came out on a plate not in a half of a pineapple like the menu said. We asked for hot tea and the waitress was annoyed that she had to make it. The “crispy noodles” tasted like canned chowmein noodles. When we went to pay the bill the said oh we forgot to tell you cash only, we need to reprogram the credit card machine!! Extremely disappointing, absolutely do not recommend!

Hands down some of the highest quality and most authentic thai I've ever had the honor of eating, I've been coming here since 2002 and it is always consistently amazing

Underated Thai restaurant. Thair pad thai is the best in midcoast Maine. Their fresh spring rolls are also great. Also it's the nicest Thai restaurant in the area, just in terms of interior and decor.Maybe they have some issues with consistency. I've gotten food there before with too much fish sauce for instance.
