Called in name and what time we would be there, waste of a call, it doesn't matter, we waited 40 minutes. A quiet, unassuming restaurant one might not even notice that it's here. A friend took me because it's one of her favorite local spots. We had a late lunch that was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and timely. Each dish was served in a very nice presentation, and just the right amount of flavorful, wonderfully seasoned food. The buttery rolls with Parmesan were warm and a great way to start while waiting for the food. I highly recommend !

The Great Impasta is a quaint little place just as you get to the Main Street block of buildings when coming from Topsham. It looks to have a nice outdoor patio during the summer. My group went on a Wed night, and I was surprised at how busy it was, however we got right in due to the fact that I called in the morning to put our names on the wait list.
