Down home people from different walks of life getting together to hang and chat. Karaoke with a few talented singers. Generous pours. About the only bar in town that stays open later. Angie the bar tender keeps people in line. A really nice dive bar.
I'm from WI, there is a pub , tavern, or bar existing on every other corner. So when I came to Maine, I noticed this sort of thing is almost non existent. In fact, to find a true bar or tavern is few and far between. But being here alone, looking to enjoy some company, and a drink with some locals, I found myself longing for this type of establishment.
