What's there to say? Tons of flavors--something for everyone. Open late which is really great. You can sample whatever you want. A little on the pricey end but I guess that's 2023 for you. Try the Wild Maine Blueberry, any of the peanut butter flavors, the chocolate, doughing me doughing you.

Some amazing sweet treats, I was amazed at the variety of flavours from around the world. Super friendly staff that let you taste before you buy make the experience exceptional!

So amazing! The staff was fantastic! I was in town visiting family and we stopped in late night after being on the road all day sightseeing. There were so many amazing g choices and being able to sample was great. Loved the cardamom, pistachio mascapone Carmel, and coconut were some stand outs, but really I think everything we tried was a winner! Can't wait to go back!

I've been coming here for years, and I am never disappointed. The sorbetto is the best sorbet I've ever eaten. I especially love the strawberry balsamic sorbetto.

❤️ Love our last-minute 5-hour excursions to Maine!! Time well spent enjoying a beautiful evening just relaxing with our dear friends Ken & Evey and yumming on my 1st ever Oreo cookies Gelato!! Honestly though...what's the difference? Its ice cream given a fancy name where $7 gets you a medium that holds a half of scoop. They do have some adventurous flavors, so I'll give them that. Worth more than that being with the hubby and dear friends ❤️

Firstly I just want to say if you love gelato I'm sure you'll be happy with their variety, staff was incredibly friendly and tried hard to help me. Loss of stars is mostly because stepping into this shop felt like an immersive "you are the ice cream" experience. Metallic silver ceiling and walls feels like literally standing in a freezer while being surrounded by far too many people. Not their fault that there were 10+ loud children there, but the empty/metallic acoustics turn it into an autism hellscape. The menu is not readable unless you are basically at the counter but by the time you are at the counter and can read it, you are expected to know what you want because everyone around you is handing out tasting spoons like it's a wolf of wall street stock exchange. 90% of the shop space is taken up by the entrance, which adds to the sardines in a tin can affect. Basically this shop is perfectly fine if you are someone who enjoys that level of activity, but if not I would consider it a fiasco for sure. Simply organizing the shop space more efficiently, like a café rather than a lunch line, and decorating it would make it an entirely different experience for people who struggle to feel comfortable in public spaces. Again, staff was very friendly and I mean this as constructive criticism.

The gelato is so delicious and there are so many different flavors to choose from, it can be busy in the afternoon, but only because it's so delicious. The employees are so upbeat and kind, and don't get annoyed even after you've asked for 10 samples of their flavors. The inside is chill and has artwork that cleverly incorporates gelato in it.

When a previous reviewer compared this gelato to some of that found in Italy, it was impossible to imagine. But in fact, it's true! The only thing missing is panna! Grazie mille.

First visit.Shop was very busy! Difficult to know where to place your order. They need stands and ropes to distinguish a more organized area. They also need a readable menu, either on a board or printed. People were in the way so you couldn't see what was available. Gelato was delicious!

The gelato is fantastic and the service is too. They have so many flavors, it looks a little overwhelming when you first step inside. But they encourage you to taste-test as much as you want. My family of four each sampled 4-5 flavors and the woman behind the counter was friendly and enthusiastic the whole time. When you're ready to buy, you can have as many flavors as can fit into the cup/cone that you choose. My favorite was the Mascarpone Pistachio and the Netflix and Chill; my family members also enjoyed the Triple Oreo, the blueberry sorbetto, and the Maine Blueberry Crisp. We ate a LOT of ice cream from homemade ice cream stands on our vacation throughout Maine and New Hampshire and this was our favorite place for dessert. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Gelato Fiasco has some of the best gelato outside of Italy. Their quality and creativity are outstanding and their service is always fantastic too. Special thanks to Logan for the excellent service!

I had such a great experience at The Gelato Fiasco! So many of the flavors sounded so good, and the person who helped me let me try about 8 different flavors! They were all excellent. I ended up getting the "special hazelnut" (apparently the hazelnuts are from Italy!). It was maybe the best hazelnut gelato I've ever had. I highly recommend The Gelato Fiasco!
