Visited 11 Oct and the sign reads “We are closed for the season”. A nice lady also explained to me that the restaurant is closed. Advise to call before driving there.

Please take note - they closed on Columbus day each year so we did not get the chance to try as we are a few days too late. Nice staff explaining the situation to us though.

We used to love this place but were disappointed this year. The folks weren't very friendly and the soft shell lobsters were tiny, and the meat was mushy.
We had eaten lobster at Boston and were not that impressed. A friend of mine told me to go up to Maine and eat at a lobster house along the coast. We picked Harraseeket based on it's reviews. It was great! You can pick your own lobster and have them cook it for you. It's the best lobster that I have ever eaten. My wife had a lobster roll, and it was loaded with lobster meat, instead of a lot of filler. If you want fresh seafood, this is the place.

I've been stopping at this place for lobsters for over 30 years. I have always enjoyed it. But definitely not a 5 star place. It should be 4.5.It is easy to order and the food comes pretty quickly. In the afternoons, it is always nice to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the view of the water.

Super fresh seafood… caught within feet of the restaurant! Offering lobster, crab, clams, mussels, fish and local faves! We had the classic lobster roll! So good! Not cheap… but very tasty. I saw many other dishes around the place that looked even better! Seafood boil looked impressive. CASH ONLY, but they have an ATM on site!!
