Sushi Bars near Gorham

“Best Chinese food I've ever had. The place is always very clean, staff are wonderful, and the food comes fast. I love that all the food has its its own flavor. I usually don't like Chinese because I feel it all tastes the same, cooked in the same grease but this restaurant is totally different! I don't know what they use to cook the food in but it always tastes amazing and it's never too greasy. I love the fried shrimp with the coconut sauce! It's always perfectly crisp even with take out. The attention to detail and perfectly cooked food really makes this place stand out. So thankful this is a part of the Gorham community.Parking: This is a busy corner but they have their own parking lot which makes it so easy to get in and out“

“Hannaford's Bento sushi is my go to when I'm craving sushi for lunch at work. Besides being nearby, it's freshly made with quality ingredients and the prices are fair. I've had the tropical tuna crunch rolls ($9.99), spicy cali mango crunch rolls ($6.99), and the Atlantic salmon avocado & nigiri combo ($9.99). All of them were excellent choices. Unfortunately the range of what's available varies from location to location, presumably based on how large the market is and how much business they see on average. It may also change day to day. It's not really possible to predict, and Hannaford's website isn't helpful. It looks like you can see the full line of products at www.bentosushi.com, but no prices since I'm sure they will vary depending on region and supermarket chain (the brand/chain has wide presence in the US and Canada). Each time I've gone, the sushi chef has asked me if I had any questions, and while I didn't, the attention to customer service in the department is appreciated - customer service is my job! One minor inconvenience is that in one instance, the sushi was arranged in the tray with an open reservoir for the soy sauce, but the other two times it was filled with the ginger and wasabi.“

“I ordered three rolls, a classic California, beef tataki, and the dynamite roll.Placed my takeout order in person, and it was ready quickly within 10-15 minutes. Any modifications I requested were adhered to, and the rolls themselves taste fresh, and really good. Can’t wait to try more!“

“Decent sushi. A lot of their sushi is "Big Mac" sushi where they cover it in multiple sauces. Also Spicy Tuna is ground up tuna, mixed with spicy sauce. Taste is okay, but it's mushy. They should visit some of the local sushi restaurants, because a few small changes would really up their sushi game.“

“I love Chad. Best bartender on earth. If he leaves Kon I'll have a new place to eat on Thursdays. I placed a take out order because I didn't want to spend an hour at the bar. I was exhausted. I gave the blond twenty-something my name and told him I was early for a take out order. He took my name. Chad served me my hot saki as soon as I sat down. 40 minutes later there was no sign of my order. Chad had to tell me it was at the front. The SAME kid who took my NAME, told me i should have told him I was there........“

“I absolutely love going here and the food is always delicious! They are always super friendly and have everything ready in good timing. I would highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area. Plus you can order online and have it ready when you get there.“
