This is fast food that is yummy and warms your insides on a cold day! This is a rest area pitstop worth the stop. You can eat at the public area in the center of the rotunda or take your meal to go. Either way, it'd be great if there were more of these and less of the competition. Enjoy!

They say close at 8 when we got here at 7 they closed and said no enough worker in the back . Very disappointment and misleading information , kinda lying . The people here is very rude too . Like they don’t need and don’t want this job at all !!

Something apropos about Popeyes en route to Acadia. They left on their spice ships 300 years ago, and now Cajun fast food has returned. Red Beans and rice, Biscuit with Honey and some of that Louisiana Hot Sauce. ?

My family stopped at the Popeyes chicken fast food, at the Kennebunk rest area on the Maine Turnpike on Sunday, February 25th, 2024.The service was very poor. During a rush, items were not available. The person running the cash register, on a busy day, was out back for long periods of time, and the person taking the orders was rude, and the store looked dirty.I ran a Wendys for several years as a General manager and I would fire every worker, working that day if I ran that store.We will not eat at that location again, even through it is one of our most favorite fast foods.It is very broken. No organization, no one was aware enough to refill items that were out, and some customers just walked over to the burger king, rather than endure the line, and poor customer service.They forgot to put my wife's beans and rice in the order, after we waited for over 20 minutes. At times no one was at the counter, even though there was a long line of customers.It is very broken. You have the wrong people running the store.

Bought mac & cheese on 2/12 at around 11:30am for my toddler, she started vomiting due to a strand of long blonde hair going down her throat. After pulling that one out, there was another one embedded in the Mac… took it back to the (blonde)cashier on duty after explaining what happened she checks out the mac and cheese initially stating “i don't see hair” then immediately changing her words to “oh yes I see one here”. I was given a refund, but her attitude was completely off and the customer service was poorly.

Okay I love Popeye's Chicken there's one of the best chickens that I've had but the service at this place sucks they do not have any food ready for you considering this supposed to be a fast food restaurant at a gas rest area I've been there several times as I go up north to go snowmobiling and half the times I am there I am waiting 20 to 40 minutes for food and that's after standing in line for half an hour and it is not like they do not have the help for people were working supposedly.
