Something apropos about Popeyes en route to Acadia. They left on their spice ships 300 years ago, and now Cajun fast food has returned. Red Beans and rice, Biscuit with Honey and some of that Louisiana Hot Sauce. ?
Show up at 5:30pm and the place is closing at 6:00pm on a Tuesday. Almost no chicken left or sides. Not sure if it’s a case of no supply coming in for the day or poor resource management but not impressed, for a common rest stop on the way into Maine it should be better maintained.

This is fast food that is yummy and warms your insides on a cold day! This is a rest area pitstop worth the stop. You can eat at the public area in the center of the rotunda or take your meal to go. Either way, it'd be great if there were more of these and less of the competition. Enjoy!
