“My new favorite place! Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in and John, our host, sat us at the perfect swanky booth with the best view! Then our server, Leah, was fabulous with suggestions & service. Wonderful dining experience!“
“We had met some of the staff earlier in the day when we stopped for a quick drink after checking in to the Kennebunkport Inn. When we came back later that night we were greeted like friends and that meant a lot. The food was delicious, the service couldn't have been better and the ambiance was just what we were hoping for.“
“well this place must be wonderful in the summer, but for us it was not summer but still nice, great view of the water and sunset, service was pleasant, very nice bar area though small.....food selection interesting, great apps and generous too, burger was very good, burnt ends disappointing....lovely place.“
“Really relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Large tables and lots, LOTS of games to try out. My friends and I had a blast trying out some new (to us) games. Will absolutely come back and I look forward to attending events here in the future.“
“This is a gemstone of a local business in Biddeford, ME. My mother and I went here for their second Sunday of the month silent book club. We have the people and atmosphere. Many unique readers joined the event. The staff members were friendly. My mother said her coffee was excellent and I attest that my ginger orange tea was soothing and flavorful. It was worth the drive.“
“Super chill place to play some pinball. They have some vintage machines mixed in with the newer ones. Good atmosphere for a night out.Parking: On site parking offered, but Renys parking lot is across the street.Kid-friendliness: Minors are permitted in the company of an adult 21 or older.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking spaces and street level entrance. No automatic doors.“
“There are quite a few " smart casual" dining options in Ogunquit and I cannot claim to have tried them all, but , of those I have sampled That Place stands out. It is a small town average floor plan that lends an air of intimacy to a roomy vibe. The service is highly trained and knowledgeable but without being pretentious. As for the menu, it is large enough for choice but simple enough to suggest specificity and care for each dish. Escargots seem to be out of favor these days but here they immediately caught my attention and did not disappoint! Neither did the generous and perfectly cooked pork chop. Utterly delicious! My Hendricks martini arrived with a slice of cucumber as garnish- a stroke of genius- and has since become my sine qua non ( if you can persuade the bar tender to supply the cucumber!) Go on spoil yourself!! You'll thank me afterwards.“
“Came in not knowing what wines to bring to Thanksgiving and left with two really cool bottles that I'll be excited to share with my relatives. Next time I would love to try some food and wine, and maybe get into some natural wine! It's nice knowing there's a place where you can go in no matter how well versed you are in wines. I'm looking forward to returning in the future.“
“The drinks are appropriately priced and so delicious!!! I got a blueberry mule and it was incredible. The vibes are immaculate too, the lighting is so nice and the deck is amazing too to get some fresh air. The bartender Jacob is so welcoming and friendly, really elevates the experience :)“
“My best friend and I went to Earth for dinner last Saturday. I hadn’t been there for over a year. It was such a surprise, incredible, unexpected experience, way above our expectations. From a culinary perspective, the menu is super well balanced with dishes that are comforting and innovating. The kitchen executes it to perfection, using outstanding produce and cooking it all in a way that showcases each element on your plate, yet never managing to hide one from the other. One thing I loved was the fact that all protein was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, never needing any sauces to mask its own flavour. We had duck, fish, venison, roasts carrots, ravioli, the tuna sashimi, the scallops and the soup of the day.Portions are perfectly sized. In my opinion, outstanding value for money. The wine list is excellent. Diverse, affordable and complementary to the menu.Deserts were nice as well, especially the Opera Cake and the Pavlova (I could have had a pint of the home made raspberry sorbet that comes as a side to it!).Service was also a star milestone. We had Charlie as a waiter. It makes a huge difference when you have someone that is passionate about what he’s presenting to you, knows the dishes and can honestly tell you about what they are and make genuine recommendations, on top of being good at reading the table, being present without being fake about it, and overall just another highlight of the evening, without being intrusive or over the top (which I find can be the case in some similar restaurants that are training their staff to over sell or use key moments of the evening to interject and justify a tip, or make up for not so perfect aspects of the service).Earth’s environment keeps you relaxed in a very beautiful and elegant room that transports you to a little fairy land of an elegant lodge lost in a wintery forest in Maine. It’s very chic, yet not stuffy. It’s cozy. It has a great vibe for adults, no matter the occasion. But let the Earth’s environment set the mood, I think you should focus on the food, if you’re into it… you can have fun putting together your prix fix menu and have a jolly dinner with someone you like…The only aspect of the night that I think deserves attention from management is that we had a table next to us with a small child, 5 or 6, that was watching Nickelodeon on mum’s phone, without an earphone. My friend could hear Dora the Explora’s every move in her quest to find her backpack… but it was an early winter Saturday evening and the girl was a saint. I would however, empower staff to monitor and curb anyone using their phones on speakers, or FaceTime, while at their table. It was a GREAT dinner! Coming back soon!“
