“I do a fair amount of traveling and Helen’s is now on my top 5 list of places, no questions. Good variety on the menu along with good dessert options (save room, it’s worth it). The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable, the restaurant itself was very well kept and clean which to me says a lot. Next time I am in the area I will be making my way there again. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.”

“I work next door and finally made it over there for lunch….I got the Haddock Reuben basket, and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The fries and coleslaw were amazing too! Parking: As most of the vehicle traffic at the Machias, Dunkins is drive through, there is always plenty of parking close to the front entry.”

The orders are fast, hot and fresh and well done. Especially the luncheon specials. Generous portions and every single dish we have ordered was incredible. Worth the trip going there.”

“We've been occasional patrons since coming to town in 2018. The meatball subs and tuna subs are my husband's favorites and I usually have a spicy Italian or BMT. We're always happy with the service and the food. Good value and priced right.

Parking: Can be tricky to get a safe spot during busy hours due to the other business there, but it is not an inconvenience.”

I had to cut back on my consumption of caffeinated coffee a long time ago and I really missed the dark roasts, but NOW! I get to enjoy that wonderful flavor without the nasty jitters!
