“This place is a gem! Sat at the bar and had excellent service! Ambiance inside was perfect and cute. Parked behind Sonder & Dram with no issues.I started with an espresso martini (spectacular!) and the French onion dip, which was incredible! The salt and vinegar chips that came with it were delicious and fresh! Had the steak & frites for a main with the blue cheese butter, a fantastic paring. Ended with a delicious crème brûlée! Hands down best restaurant in L/A!!”

I had a burger and my friend wanted a hot dog. If I am in the area again, I will be back.. if going, you might have to find parking. There is parking there, but the place is busy, so you might have to look for a place to park. But it is worth it.Parking: There is parking, but the place is so good that you might have to find parking on the streets. I can tell you that it is worth it.”

“This is the place you’ve been looking for! When it comes to old-school bakeries, Italian Bakery is the one! Their pastries are phenomenal to say the least, and everyone’s favorite seems to be the Lobster Tail. I haven’t heard a single negative comment about it. In addition, you should definitely try their cannoli, lemon square, cookies, doughnuts, or anything else that catches your eye! However, keep in mind that the demand is high, and products sell out fast. So, do yourself a favor and order ahead if you want to ensure you can sample everything your heart desires. Also, their sandwiches are not to be missed! Italina Bakery is definitely worth the trip!”

“Guthries is hands down the cutest little nook in Lewiston! The vibe is speakeasy meets craft lunch and I am HERE FOR IT. They have a soft spot for vegetarian/vegan options without sacrificing the flavor, ask for their homemade hot sauce, you won't regret it. Everything is very fresh & made to order, and the baked goods are out of this world delicious but usually fly out the door long before lunch time, fair but sad for the late riser like me, lol Everyone that works at Guthries is kind and funny and friendly, 100/10 recommend.”

We started with the fried calamari and it had the perfect hint of spice (and I don’t do spice but it was amazing) I had the Penne with vodka sauce and added chicken (absolutely amazing) my husband had the Seafood Pomodoro, I didn't try it but he didn’t even stop to take a break. He loved it! My mom had the Spinach and cheese Tortellini and it was amazing as well! Then we all ended with the tiramisu and it was creamy and delicious! Absolutely amazing all around! There is nothing bad I can say about our experience. I cant wait to go back again! If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! This place is my favorite and a must try!”

“An outstanding place for a night out! A very cool kitschy unique destination. They have delicious food (including truly, next level tasty flatbreads), a great selection of craft cocktails and some on tap beers. They are often hosting activities such as, karaoke, trivia, cribbage, poetry readings, etc. The staff is so friendly and there are other locales (Sonder&Dram, the Vault, Forage) nearby to make it part of a fun bar hopping night!!”

“This was my first visit . It's a nice clean restaurant and seafood market that doesn't smell like one. The employees are friendly and helpful . Before visiting I did call because I was unsure if they had a place to eat in . My guest had coffee and they said it was great ! We both ordered combination plates of haddock and scallops with onion rings . We were served ice water when we were sat. That was nice . They had premium quality napkins and plastic cutlery . The haddock was amazing ! Along with the onion rings ! Perfect ! The scallops were huge ! But very wet so they were not crispy . I asked . So I was hoping to get bacon wrapped scallops or a lobster dinner which was not on the menu . They do sell live lobsters in tanks . Although the breading didn't have much flavor the oil they used tasted very clean . No after taste . We ordered a cup of seafood chowder to try but we're too full. Would liked to have seen more onion rings for the up charge as they were delish ! I will be back for sure ! Next time I'll try the steamed lobster dinner or the Maine man lobster roll ! Blueberry habanero sauce ! Yum ! Ps I'd prefer tartar sauce in individual cups instead of large squeeze bottles used over and over. On table room temp then in fridge then out and in . Mayo spoils . That would probably be the biggest complaint and other places do it as well. My guest said the pickles were good !”

“I've always said that The Heritage is one of GR's best hidden gems. This restaurant is run by students at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Arts and offers a fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. There are a few tips you'll need to pay attention to if you'd like to check it out. First, sign up for their email list so you get notified when their reservations open. They have extremely limited hours and dates that they're open (usually only two months throughout the year for a few days each week). The second thing to know is that your meal may take a bit longer than if you were to go out to a restaurant. Since it's a teaching environment, you may overhear instructors telling students how to properly clear tables, giving them tips, etc. and your food may take a bit longer to come out. All that said, if you can get a reservation for lunch or dinner at The Heritage, I highly recommend it. For dinner they usually offer a pre-fixe menu although it has changed over the years. I've dined at The Heritage several times now, for both lunch and dinner. If you have the time for a longer lunch, it's really fun. Nate and I went on their very first day of service during the winter 2024 session and it was great! You could definitely see some nerves, but we were enthusiastic and encouraging. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu: hand pulled mozzarella, chopped salad, shrimp bisque, pork curry, haute style beef, and two desserts. They start you with bread service, and they kept asking if we wanted more throughout the meal. The first few courses were spaced out appropriately and presented nicely. I LOVED the hand pulled mozzarella - it was flavorful and the baguette was perfectly toasted and not too crispy. I'd order that again. The salad was a huge portion and so beautifully plated, but it was a little lacking in flavor. I added some salt which helped. (In general, I have found most of the food to be a tad under seasoned for my taste, but they had salt and pepper shakers on the table). Our entrees took a bit longer to come out, but they were delicious. I preferred the haute beef, which was a perfectly cooked (medium rare) filet on some potato croquettes with delicious sauce. I did think it was interesting they didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked, but it was great. They also didn't offer a steak knife, but it wasn't necessary. The pork in the curry was super tender and cooked really nicely. Dessert is displayed on a cart that they bring around which is really fun. We went with the mocha latte torte and the raspberry passionfruit torte. I loved the mocha latte torte as it reminded me of tiramisu. In lieu of tips, an 18% service charge is added to each check and this money is put into scholarships that go back to the students. They also provide a comment card that you can give feedback on at the end of the meal. If you are a patient and kind foodie with a bit of time on your hands, definitely try to make it to The Heritage for a meal!”

Might not be the place take someone on a date but definitely a cool spot to grab drinks with friends. The last time I was there, it seemed like they had some kind of comidy event going on. Hear a lot if laughing so they might have some good shows also.”
