Diners near Newport

“Newport Diner is everything you'd want in a small local eatery. I saw that they make their own sausage in house so I had to get some sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. The sausage was delicious my meal came with two large patties. The coffee was excellent too - it'll "put some hair on your chest" as my grandmother used to say - meaning it's strong coffee - just how I like it. There were two ladies working the place and they were a well oiled team, friendly, and fast. They made me feel like a local. The day I went it seemed everyone knew everyone there. The menu is everything you'd expect a diner to have. Tons of breakfast options, burgers, sandwiches, and check the board for daily specials. The diner itself is clean and cozy, plenty of parking in the lot and down behind as well. There is ramp for wheelchair access and the dining area is broken up into three sections. Two out front and one out back. The food was excellent, portions were generous, I was admiring what others were having as well and no one left hungry! If you ever find yourself on a lazy Sunday morning hit the Newport Diner, it's def. worth it!“

“I love walking into this store as it's like taking a trip to the past that contains the present as well. The people that own/work/cook/clerk etc.. are welcoming and re willing to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. We ordered food for the first time, the pizza we wanted was not being served that day, before I had a chance to change the order I heard, "I can make that happen if you're not in a hurry." I am always willing to wait for quality and that is what we received. The food was phenomenal and the prices were reasonable. Again, also willing to pay for quality I was surprised it didn't break the bank.“
