As someone originally from New Jersey this is the closest to a traditional Jewish deli you can find around here. Absolutely delicious

I had a trip planned to Portland for a while and researched my post/Fitness show eats for quite some time, and I’m so happy that I stopped by Rose foods. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and the woman behind the counter helped me choose, and it was delicious, light, and super satisfying. The crunch of the bagel was everything I hoped for! I could have had another, but I’ll be sure to stop by next time I’m in town! Thanks again ❤️

A beautiful and kind local bagel shop with great coffee and great people all around. Price point is reasonable and the quality of the product is fantastic. Could not possibly recommend this sweet little gem of a bagel joint more. Cheers!Parking: Typically parking in front of the store and or around the corner in the neighborhood.Kid-friendliness: These folks are super nice and everyone is welcomeWheelchair accessibility: That's a bit of a challenge in as much as there is a step to get up into the restaurant itself however there is a window through which the employees can serve. So everyone can have a chance to have a great bagel

The pastrami sandwich is as good as any you'll find in NYC. The bagels are my favorite in Portland, as well.

Premium prices not premium service. But they ask you for a tip up front.

The pastrami is as good as anything you can find in New York City - just as good as Katz’s or Pastrami Queen, Ben’s Delicatessen, etc.The bagels are reminiscent of Russ & Daughters or Kossar’s in the Lower East Side and I have no doubt that this is the closest you will get to a NYC bagel in Maine.I am impressed.

Got the nova lox on an everything bagel and it was delicious! Bagel was awesome! Crunch on the outside, soft on the inside. Coffee was yummy and they have multiple options for fixins.
