Definitely my favourite bar in Portland! Great ambience, and the most impressive whiskey menu I think I've seen. John and the other bar staff are awesome: friendly, interesting and super knowledgeable. The food is also excellent, even though you might not think of this as a place to eat, you really should!

We stumbled upon this place over the weekend and my goodness was it a treat! The atmosphere is cozy and chic and the bar itself is impressive. The whiskey selection was robust and the cocktails were well done! The staff were friendly and the bartenders really knew their stuff regarding their bourbons. I can’t recommend this place enough

We came here after learning it's one of the top 10 bourbon bars in America. When walking in my first impression was: How swanky! It was pretty quiet when we first arrived, but before you know it people starting flowing in. We came here for happy hour, which they had amazing deals. The bartender was super observant, welcoming and had attention to detail. I had the Pike Pole Bourbon Sangria, I don't traditionally like bourbon but I LOVED my drink. I ventured out to a few other cocktails and I wasn't disappointed. Everyone can find something to sip on here.

Nice people, nice vibe. Just came for drinks. Ordered the flight. Three of them were decent, the fourth should not be on that flight. I believe it was the 50 stone single malt and it tasted like swill. It was worse than Jack Daniels. The other three were fantastic though. Expensive. Fun place.

Had a wonderful spur of the moment meal at this place located on a cool cobblestone alley off the main drag. The place was jumping but we had a geeat spot outside. Best chicken sandwich ever!! Totally amazing burger, packed with toppings and flavor, tender, cooked perfectly. Wine list was fun and varired, reasonably priced. Server was super busy but very attentive. A great surprise!

I'm giving it a 2 because the bar was beautiful and the selection was great. But the bartenders are not friendly. We actually didn't have a great experience the first time and heard the not so nice bartender say he had the next few days off. We went for a second hoping for a more enjoyable experience. It was so nasty I didn't even order a drink. Not for me. Too many great bars to have a unfriendly and not fun experience.
