“Treat yourself. Even if you don't deserve it! I'm pretty fussy when I eat out because I am trying to have a break from cooking, and I want inspiration. I love this menu. It is not large, but it offers awesome choices. I had enchiladas with chicken and a tasty mole sauce! I also recommend the wings. More like legs, they are huge, very tasty and satisfying. And a bit messy but in the good way! The pizza is honestly the best in the area, and they do TAKE OUT! They also have entertainment! Check their website for what is happening. My housemate and I loved the drag show!”
“Massimo's draws on the spirit and style of European Culinary artistry. It is unlike anything you will find in the area and will not leave you disappointed in palette, presence or attitude. Well worth your time to visit this skilled artisan's, friendly studio of culinary passion! 110%!”
“This was our first time eating here, we just happened to be in town for some work. The food was so good! Large portions, for the money. The wait staff were all very friendly & fast. We ate our main course before I thought to take any pictures, but I took pictures of our desserts. Bread pudding & hot fudge brownie sundae.”
“The whole family absolutely loves this place no matter who's behind the counter they're always extremely nice the foods always done very well. When I tell the family we're ordering food for dinner they always want to get it from here!100% recommend ?”
“Love the girls that work here in the a.m. my coffee is always good ? the only thing I don't recommend is anything containing an egg. This has nothing to do with the employees working at this branch were any branch for that matter. I believe Duncan as a corporation switch to the egg manufacturer or the way they process them prior to sending them to the individual restaurants. For the last month they are always..... We will say gooey just because I don't know how else to describe it. It's almost as if it's a runny yolk texture but not. And it's not just at my location of had egg on my breakfast sandwich at 3 other locations and they're all the same.”
“I'm not the biggest sweets guy but all the baked goods are amazing! But the breakfast burritos you can't get anything as delicious or as big as they are around here! The lady who is usually the one behind the counter has been nothing but friendly and smiles I love this place!”
“The best Thai food around. The appetizers are so beautifully done.Details from plates and chopsticks (you can purchase) to a solid cocktail menu and paired wine and sake.Wish I lived closer.Kid-friendliness: Always a family or two with children. No worries.”
“Cannot say enough good things about this place. Really friendly staff, incredible food, lovely outdoor seating (even in the snow). I will be back and singing the praise of Daily Soup to all :)”
“Super good donuts, friendly service, and reasonable pricing. I’d have to really split hairs to find something I didn’t like, but they did advertise in house that they sell milk in two places (at two prices) and they don’t.”
“This a great hometown pizza place. The staff was great, there were kids hanging out and families having dinner. We had a pizza with fried eggplant, having never had it, I was curious. It was great! Their menu has something for everyone.Vegetarian options: Fried eggplant is a must try if you haven't.Kid-friendliness: Lots of parents and kids, some arcade type games and room to eat as a family.”
“Had breakfast here a few times. First time in was not a good experience; some dude came in that smelled and he sat right next to me. Fortunately, he moved away so I could eat. The food was decent but the service was lacking. Lots of townies here.”
“The cheeseburger here are so good! They have improved over the years and are cheaper then other establishments around!! Hot dogs are good also! Go for a hot dog and a cheeseburger yummy!!!”
“I purchased some Stone mixes after seeing it advertised on Maine Life. Wow ...these are delicious and super easy to make. One package makes 8 good size scones! Great for gift baskets!”
“This is on the main drag in Bucksport, ME. It looks like every sleepy little town mainstay restaurant I have ever been in, and with that comes a comfort level. Although it is not a sleek and shiny place, the dining area is nicely lit and very clean. It smells like good food that you are accustomed to eating, and that is not a bad thing. Our server was attentive and apparently is a whiz at memorization-it was her third day and she could answer any question we threw her way. The brats were flavorful and smothered in caraway kraut. The kale and orange garnish was nostalgic. My companion enjoyed her house made ravioli, wishing there was a bit more filling in them. The star of the show was the French Onion soup. It was delicious with tons of flavor, superbly melted cheese and a perfect ratio of crouton to soup. Needless to say, that is my new comfort food, within walking distance of my workplace. Lucky me!”
“Can't go wrong with Darby's when you're in Belfast.Met up with a friend for lunch on a weekday. Was surprised to see that the cornbread was no longer complimentary. However, we ordered some as an appetizer and it was delicious as always.I ordered the Cobb salad and it was perfectly executed.”
“The food was beyond good. Very fresh, well seasoned. We will be back. The indoor space is quite small. but there is outdoor seating in the warm months.Dietary restrictions: We are gluten free and we had so many options.Parking: Few spots infront of restaurant But many spot in the public parking just beyond the building.”
“I thouht the waitress was great as the drink selected was not liked and she replaced it immediately and charged me for the cheaper drink. Great food and nice settings.”
“Fabulous! We wanted a midday snack and this hit the spot. We had a dog with nacho cheese, bacon and jalapeños. Plus, a monte cristo…YUM! We could have eaten the nacho cheese on its own. Everything was delicious. Hands down, best hot dog we’ve ever had. We only wish we would have discovered your truck sooner!”
“A great, no frills place, serving great food at decent prices. Stopped in for a late lunch of crab Rangoon, Philly steak, and fish and chips with sweet potato fries. Food was hot, fast and very flavorful.”
“The food = outstandingThe setting = cozy and inspiringThe staff = kind and attentiveAs I just found out there is a brief winter break closure but they deserve it and sometimes it's good to explore new places. Excited to get back.”
“Definitely a good stop for coffee and breakfast! The maple spice latte was incredible and I’m very picky with my lattes. The tomato basil tart was delicious! Staff was super friendly and service was quick. Glad we made the stop here!”
“If you're in Bucksport, The Dairy Port is a must-visit ice cream shop! They serve the best local ice cream with a side of friendly staff. Don't miss out on this local gem for a delightful ice cream experience.”
“We arrived at night so we couldn't see the marina, but we could tell the view would have been spectacular. It was nice at night. I had the quiche plus salad and my daughter had the beet burger. They had games so my daughter and I played Yahtzee while waiting for our food. I also ordered the pain killer drink which was tasty, but the pain was still there afterward. We ordered the sweet potato cheese cake which was also good. The waitress was nice and gave good suggestions. The place was easy to find with Google but hard to see at night through winding roads. Nothing to worry about though.”
“I'm a big guy who has eaten a LOT of pizza and frankly whatever deal with some dark god Alexia's made for their crust recipe is worth it. I have no idea what is happening in that kitchen but I would rob my own mother for their pizza fresh out of the oven.”
“we came here spontaneously and needed a pick me up coffee for the early drive. the atmosphere was nice and service was PHENOMENAL! we don’t know anything about Maine and we were given a little help on directions and things to do. definitely come here if you’re looking for a nice conversation and welcoming environment. oh and coffee was great which was a plus ?”
“We went to dinner without a reservation on the very last day of the season. Even though they were out of many things, the food we did order was yummy. The service was great and the atmosphere is always nice. We highly recommend.”
“Was fortunate enough to pass by Bell the Cat as I was passing through Belfast! Clearly a local hotspot as evidenced by the many friendly people mingling inside, recognizing each other now and then. As I’d never been there before, Olivia at the counter helped me decide what to order, and was friendly, personable, and attentive. A+ for customer service! I was too late for breakfast tacos, (ends at 11am) but had an excellent meal nonetheless.I ordered a cup of the Thai Curry soup, which was highly recommended, and I can see why! Absolutely delicious. Texture was great, lemongrass especially was incredible. Warmed me right up.I also had the Chicken Poppy wrap, with feta cheese and strawberries, it was bright and summery on this cold day. Didn’t realize it came with a side of chips, that was a nice surprise. The dining area was casual and bright, restrooms clean and well-stocked, and everything was pretty reasonably priced, considering I got a full sandwich, a cup of soup, and a hot chocolate. If I’m in the area again, I would not hesitate to return :)Kid-friendliness: Casual vibe, open seating, kid-friendly”
“We had a wonderful dinner last night at Satori. I regret not trying this place before. Being off season, it was easy to walk in with no wait time. Every single dish we ordered was perfect! The drinks were great. I had ordered one of their vodka based cocktail special, which was just perfect. We ended with their Japanese cheesecake that came with a blackberry sauce and whipped cream - absolutely delicious . Great service and ambience. Definitely, coming back”
“It was a hot and humid Wednesday in September. We were thirsty and were drawn to the Chocolate Drop Candy Shoppe by the "fresh lemonade" sign out front. We were the only ones in there and sat at the bar while we watched a young man make our fresh-squeezed lemonade. It totally hit the mark! The shop is reminiscent to a mid-century soda shop. There were many sweet treats from that era as well as more modern treats. I will go back!”
“While attending the Maine Boat and Home Show in August, this beauty of "a food truck" was parked close by. I just had to stop. Ended up with the Maine Blueberry cup...yummy 4 my tummy. Yeah for spontaneity! So good, just classic...”
