I can't believe this! I order online, expecting a decent meal, and what do I get? Tiny portions that look nothing like the pictures and cost a fortune! Plus the food was cold, and in plastic. Stay away from this place.

Taj is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Portland area! The food is delicious, and always consistent. My favorite is the eggplant curry. To top it off, the staff are incredibly kind!

Great food, both in portion size and quality! I had the Lamb Korma which was nice and tender and the curry was flavorful and spicy! Service was also friendly and quick! Only downside is it can be a little crowded with the amount of takeout orders that they do. Have heard they are moving locations soon so that should free up more space for more dine in. Will be coming back!!

Whether you are looking for a buffet lunch where you can try a variety of dishes, or if you're more in the mood to choose your own dishes off their well curated menu, Taj has got you covered. I am waiting with excitement to see what they do in their new space that is opening soon.

Worst food of my life. First of all the place is filthy and dirty. Over crowded by their staff . You won’t have one specific waiter. Poor quality food .plates and glasses were not clean . I am super disappointed .
I have been coming here for years and the food is always excellent! Their staff is friendly and helpful. I think they need a little more space as they do so many take out orders a night they don’t have enough room! Always packed so on the weekend get a reservation for dinner. Their lunch buffets are a great value and I hear they are expanding soon so can’t wait to see what they add to atmosphere and menu!

Sunday lunch with daughter Arria- Packed with happy people. Prashanth and Vini waited on us right away. We had pakoras, garlic naan, two kinds of Paneer, goat vindaloo #7 spicey, half chicken tandoori And complimentary Gulab jamon. Plenty to bring home for supper. Advice: order from the menu; yes it's more pricey, and yes it takes longer coming to the table, but the food, the spices, seem fresher. New restaurant to open in June. Auntie will be back from India then.
