Our preferred place to sit is at the bar where we know we will always get excellent service from our favorite server Sammy. Sammy always greets us with a friendly smile and remembers what we like to drink, she also remembers how we like each dish that is ordered prepared even if we forget to ask, she knows. “I've worked with Stephanie on two events in her upstairs dining room -- one for 20 people and one for 32. She and her staff exceeded my expectations both times and were delightful to deal with at every phase. The dining room is private with spectacular views through the glass doors. The deck is perfect for pre-dinner cocktails and the entire experience is high-end. If you need to dazzle a group, Stephanie will make you look good.“

“We ordered two small pizzas, to try different flavors - spicy pulled pork, pepperoni, bacon & sausage and spinach, kalamata olive & roasted garlic. Both were delicious. This was our second time to Otto. We live about a mile up the road from your South Portland location. Our first visit, I wasn't thrilled with the pizza. We ordered a large something or other (?) and I thought "Meh, I don't see what al the fuss is about." So we usually order from DiPietro's - fairly yummy, basic, inexpensive pizzas. I wanted to give the joint another try. This time I ordered two smalls - different flavors - one with meat and one without. They looked rustic and handcrafted, smelled, and tasted delicious. The process was efficient. We were very pleased and will continue to order those flavors and try new ones.“

“I was amazed by the incredible service and attention. Drinks continuously refreshed. Chips and salsa never went empty. And the salsa wasn’t some bland canned stuff. Fresh ingredients full of flavor. The entrees came out very fast and were tasty. I had carne asas burrito. Coworker had sizzling hot chicken fajitas. At the end, they brought out what seemed like two corn chips with whip cream and strawberry drizzle. This was a very pleasant surprise because it tasted like a graham cracker after a few seconds. Everyone bent over backwards to ensure we had great experience. Tables were super clean. Menus were clean as well but they offered QR alternative. I wish I wasn’t visiting and lived here because this would be my go-to place. Menu had many options and I would come here for regular dinners but also for celebrations.“

“Be careful, Scratch is a market-style shop and all of their delicious treats are on full display as you walk in the entrance and follow the flow of traffic around to the check out - it's a feat not to leave with one or 10 of everything (and it's all just as delicious as it looks!)Staff is so friendly and kind. They offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well. I always look forward to grabbing lunch at Verbena!Parking: Parking can definitely be tricky due to the many businesses along Ocean Street, but they do have a free parking lot behind the building along E Street as well!“

“Good food. Not table side but still good. Wished they had more slice options but still good. Everything was clean (tables, menus, restrooms). Wished they did wine or other adult beverages but that’s more of a wish list and not a complaint. Mashed potato pizza was good. Eggplant ricotta was bit bland but not terrible. It was adjacent to Maine Escape room so great pre or post option. I enjoyed my time and would come back“

“First time being here, and I went with a friend. Atmosphere was pretty cozy, I liked the color choice for the walls. It gave the restaurant warm/friendly vibes. They were able to seat us immediately, as we went at a wierd time [like late lunch very early supper time] so it wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was attentive without over doing it. The food was good, we did end up asking for thai chili flakes to make it a bit spicier. But it was still flavorful without it. Averaged about $25-30 per person.The only bad thing I will say is that I was disappointed with the Strawberry milk tea. I could tell they used a Strawberry syrup for it and it was a bit too sweet for what I was expecting. Still good, just not what was expected.Parking: They have signs indicating for ruby Thailand customers only. It's a small parking lot, but it has enough space.“

“Amazing cakes! This was my first time ordering from Two Fat Cats. I ordered a chocolate chocolate cake for my son’s birthday and everyone was really impressed! Flavorful and perfectly sweet (but not too sweet) frosting and dense, melt in your mouth cake. Highly recommend!“

“This has been a easy dinner staple for us for years. When we visit my parents in South Portland, we always come here - kids can use the old school video game, they offer kids coloring sheets and crayons, they have great local beers, delicious bbq, and always yummy specials. There’s something for everyone. Easy and delicious.“

“I had the usual, but it didn't taste the same. It tasted like fake chicken or chicken that was not fully grilled. The fettuccine was a little thicker and narrower. I ordered diet coke, but when I asked for a refill, I got regular, and it seemed so I barely drank any more.“

“we stayed at the hotel for a few days. the bar was fantastic with an amazing cocktail list. we had the farmers board and it was great! super fresh and generous portion. we came back later to have dinner in the restaurant. the lobster bisque and seafood chowder were both excellent. to be honest we were both disappointed in our meals. I had the "24 hour" blue cheese torched short rib. it just had a few crumbles of blue cheese sprinkled on top so that was disappointing . the short rib itself was very good but there was way too much sauce on it as it was very strong. the potatoes and diced veggies were very good. my husband had the crab crusted haddock and it was far from crab crusted so that was disappointing as well. the fish was very bland and had 2 crab cakes set on top of it. it was ashame because everything else was very good. I'd give it another try but would probably just do starters and maybe try a sandwich. the enttees were largely misrepresented. they have a very impressive drink list and that would bring us back!“

“Taco Trio and I go way back. My mom and I would go on special occasions at their old location and my brother would always order the horchata. I can say with certitude that their quality and service has only increased since my time there as a kid. Their California plain burrito was my go to and still is- as I'm pescatarian and it is my favorite option indeed. I adore their new location and am very happy that the have more space to do what they do best. They always give extra sauce cups too... total bonus points. The bar is quite cute and the lighting in the afternoon adds to the overall experience. I want a burrito after writing all of this.“

“first time going, and it was a great experience. my mom, sister, and i all went and ordered very different meals. my sister chose a harvest kale salad, my mom had a maple bacon burger, and i chose the aloha açaí bowl. the burger was delicious, with just enough juiciness and spice. the salad had a variety of flavors and vegetables, with just enough vinegar to give it a tangy taste. for my açaí bowl, i can't find the right words to describe how delightful it was. the fruit was incredibly fresh, and the super fruit blend base was perfectly balanced with the wide variety of fruits. i will definitely be returning to this place, as the food is locally sourced and the experience was very satisfying.“
