The food is delicious especially the calzones! This staff is so friendly and courteous that I enjoy going to this Amato's and have decided it's my favorite in central Maine!! They will take good care of you and even work well to fulfill specialty needs! And they remember the friendly customers!!
I was so happy to hear Amato's had come to Waterville and the first time i ordered a ham Italian it was delicious! A few weeks later my boyfriend and i bought two of them. The roll was not as fresh as the first one and they both had way too much oil!! We were disappointed but we will try them again! If we're not satisfied, we just will not go back! Ive always said Amato's makes the best Italians in Maine but this last experience was very disappointing!

We've enjoyed ordering the sub sandwiches at this location over the past few months. The sandwiches are consistent, the order details (such as no salt) are met. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. The sandwiches were ready, no wait when ordered on-line.
