“I’ve driven by Bread & Roses Bakery probably a Thousand times, each time saying to myself “I NEED to check this place out!”. Well to my delightful surprise, my son; Brycen, unknowingly brought me home an Iced Coffee & the Amazing ‘Pumpkin Whoopie Pie’ pictured below.The cake is moist, soft & lightly sweetened unlike others that feel like you’re biting into a 1lb bag of Sugar! The nutty Pumpkin flavor of what typically is made of Cinnamon & Nutmeg is also light and tastes Fresh! Non “Pumpkin Lovers” would also enjoy this ‘Pie’ as the flavor is not overwhelming and doesn’t take away from the deliciousness of the cake!The filling is sweet & creamy with a perfect texture. It is also slightly flavored with the Pumpkin spices but again, it is only a light flavor.This particular “Whoopie Pie” was purchased from the Ogunquit Beanery who apparently get the pies from Bread & Roses which I Just found out while writing this review. Regardless of where it was purchased the product is Amazing and I Highly recommend checking this place out!“
“My wife and I absolutely love this place. We used to go to their storefront in Ogunquit starting many years ago, and while we're sad to see their limited operating hours at the Wells location (compared to before) and the lack of display cases like they used to have, the quality is still top notch and the workers are fantastic. Amazingly delicious breads and pastries, including a phenomenal blueberry crumb loaf and dinner-plate-size choc chip cookies. The outdoor atmosphere and seating is more relaxing in this location and there's plenty of parking, which was definitely a challenge in the old spot. Ogunquit's loss is Wells' gain. Open 7-1, be sure to check this place out - you'll be glad you did.“

“OMG! We just went to Borealis for the first time on Christmas Eve and it was an 11/10. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast paninis (rosemary bread!), pastries and coffee were so delicious. It was truly the best (and jolliest) start to the day!“

Today they had Saint Patrick’s day doggie biscuits /-green of course. The owner is super nice and always has a smile and a nice word as do all the staff. “Seven High is our official go to. The benefits of having a restaurant with this atmosphere, food, and service makes us locals so lucky. We have made five official visits for dinner and dessert since they opened their doors and we have not been disappointed once. The owners had a vision and truly brought it to life. Their staff is as kind and engaging as they are, and I truly don’t think they would have it any other way. Their menu has a perfect selection to accommodate everyone, and they have no problem making additional accommodations if needed. The drinks are to die for, especially when Kacey makes them! Basic or Apple Cider Margarita will make you want another, along with their great selection of beer. We’ve had the calamari (amazing), pork flautas (my husband asked if we could order six as just a meal, of course they said they could work that out), the Lamb Shank which is a special that we hope to see on the menu permanently, the haddock (I’ve ordered four times) the burger - perfectly cooked, the Tuna (wow) and their bread basket which offers two sizes with oil or butter and HOLY MOLY, we are obsessed. Sarah makes desserts from scratch - tonight we had the brownie skillet with cinnamon ice cream and apple crisp with a hot cup of coffee. We truly can’t speak highly enough about this establishment, and of course having such an amazing restaurant to bring everyone together, a place to make new friends and feel catered to simply makes our hearts happy. Seven High is worth the drive we would normally make to Portsmouth or Portland, so make it a point to give them a try and let them know where you’re from. So much thought, effort and love was and is put into Seven High everyday, they deserve all of the support. I promise, you won’t be disappointed. We are true foodies, that can’t believe this kind of dining is finally close to home. “Tasty whoopie balls. I loved that they all came in milk or dark chocolate. The peanut butter was decadent, as well as the original. They had Oreo, cheesecake, pistachio, and many other flavors. Like buying truffles, but will a chocolate cake layer between the chocolate coating and filling. Great for sharing. Great service.“
“The Donuts are awesome, the service was excellent, the clerk did not get upset as we were trying to do a big order and overwhelmed with the choices and then she asked if it we were traveling and packed them in flat boxes so they would travel better. Exceptional Service- Highly Recommend and we never miss going at least once on vacation.“
