“I discovered B&F when I lived in Falmouth, and they were at our local farmers market. I always hit their stand because they had the best breads and jams. Now they’ve opened up their own restaurant and it is out of this world. Their true gifts are incredible flavor profiles and truly perfect pastry. Every dish I’ve had there has been a culinary revelation. I now live 90 minutes away, and stop there every time I’m in the area. In a foodie city, they not only hold their own, but lead the way.“

“Tandem serves some of the best coffee I've tasted. We were visiting Portland and stopped by the 122 Anderson location. We were greeted by the baristas who were extremely friendly and provided great recommendations for the area. We tried a classic latte, maple latte, and their pour over coffee, which was smooth and bold. Highly recommend a pit stop here, either to enjoy the ambience of the little shop or just grab a coffee to go!“

“Great breakfast sandwiches!!!! We had ham, egg & cheese, and sausage, egg & cheese pastels. The pastel is a lightly fried puff pastry filled with the breakfast foods. Outstanding! Also had Cloud Puffs; basically round churro balls. Again, outstanding! Open for breakfast and lunch. Typical of Brazilian street food. Nice people, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.“
“Terrarium is a little gem of a place to hang out with a friend after a stressful week. Rob was so knowledgeable and encouraging. I definitely recommend this for all plant lovers or anyone looking for a unique experience or team-building activity. I'm looking forward to going back! Thanks, Rob!!“
“We stopped by for the first time and had a delicious lunch! The turkey red pepper wrap (with delicious sauce!) was so tasty, satisfying and filling! The sides were just as delicious (the dill pasta salad?! Incredible.)! We also took home a sourdough baguette and it was gone before we even started dinner! We will definitely be back and we can’t wait to try the other items! :)“

“I went the morning after power across the city went out because nothing in south Portland was open (not even the traffic lights worked!) It was extremely crowded and they were out of some of the food. There are probably about 18 stools and 2 tables and every one was taken. My drip coffee was tasty, but almost $4. They have a lot of charging ports and coat/purse hangers under the counter which rocks! Employees were friendly, it was clean, there's a little shop in the back but I didn't explore. Cute place“

“The atmosphere here is so comforting & cozy. I got the egg salad toast and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was so thick and the flavors all complimented each other very well. I also tried the Bermuda Triangle and Mariana Trench. Both were very good!“

“This coffee shop is not just a place to grab a drink; it's a neighborhood gem that exudes warmth and community spirit. Whether you're inside or outside, you'll feel like you belong. The Nutella latte, a local favorite, adds to this cozy vibe. The staff and owners treat everyone like old friends, making it a delightful experience every time. Plus, their support for local artists adds a touch of homegrown charm, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a sip of local flavor while soaking in the friendly neighborhood atmosphere.“
“100% the best team of people in the Portland service industry. Walking in, you get greeted by not only a cheerful woman working the register, but the entire kitchen as well. The aromas of peppers and onion grilled on the flattop enter your nostrils as you breathe in the friendly atmosphere. Their breakfast sandwiches are on par if not better than the Brooklyn bodegas I'm used to. This place is hidden and the perfect surprise to any unexpected foodie or just a simple food lover. If I'm not a regular in the next few months, I've either moved or disappeared:)“

“I have been using Tally's catering on Steven's Ave for large cooperate events for about two years. It is high time I write a review. They are life savers! Everyone asks where my catering is from, and compliments the special attention made to allergies, and food preferences. Julie is a joy to work with, the food is always on time, labeled, and displayed beautifully. They work within my budget (difficult to find in Portland) and I am always impressed. You should hire them.“

“Everything we ordered was good but they ran out of certain items which narrowed their menu down, including some alcohol and wine choices. Service was great but a good restaurant has to be prepared to deliver what is offered, especially on a very restricted menu. Also, prices are astoundingly high. Customers have a right to expect well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. There was also the noise factor some "sound boards" in this old bare bones building would be welcome so you could enjoy conversation with your dining partners. They need to work on this business they need to offer more for the big bucks, it doesn't just happen because you're organic and have good artisanal bread. I wish them success and I'll try again next year.“

“Really cozy eatery with friendly staff. Came here for a quick breakfast and couldn't decide between the omelette or the French toast, so I got BOTH! Hahaha. The French toast was soft and moist on the inside (the soak it overnight so your not eating some dry piece of bread masquerading as French toast), the berries were fresh, and the syrup sweet without being overly sweet. Perfection. The omelette was delicious. The home fries were a mix of sweet potato and Idaho potatoes-yum! Overall, it was a great experience. Will be back for sure.“
