Dockside is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph! I've shot many weddings there and I've loved every one of them. The staff is top notch, the grounds are beautiful, and view is unmatched, and during your reception you'll probably be visited by a nosy great blue heron. He's popped up at most of the weddings I've shot there. There are so many wedding venues in Southern Maine, you probably can't do any better than Dockside.

Our stay encompassed several days in early October of this year and it was our first time staying there. Accomodations were excellent and we look forward to staying again in the future! The attached photo of the sunrise speaks to the quality of the atmosphere! The lobster rolls served at the deck by the water were spectacular!!

My husband and I were married here last weekend and we could not have asked for a more wonderful place to have our wedding! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food (especially the passed appetizers) is delicious, and the staff who made our night possible are incredibly kind and helpful. Heather made planning our wedding easy and the day was perfect! Kendra was so helpful and the food was amazing! Every single person on staff was phenomenal! They were also incredibly accommodating of dietary restrictions. Thank you so much for helping us have the perfect wedding day. And if you have a chance to stay at the Guest Quarters on site, DO IT!! The view of the water is wonderful.

I love this place!!! It's exceptional when the screened in area is open...You are able to dine and watch all the boats come and go while enjoying the wildlife!!! I usually get the special as I was told once it's always the freshest, but please don't hesitate venturing with the rest of the menu...Staff 5*, View 5*, Area 5*, Menu 5* and make sure you take a walk to the pier...Bon Appétit!!!Dietary restrictions: GFParking: There's additional parking down the road...

Booked a table for 2 for 8pm, then received a text at 7pm saying be there for 7.30 or don't bother coming. As we weren't quite ready, and it was a 20-minute drive, it was a pointless exercise. We have never had this happen to us before, and it left us struggling to find somewhere else.

my husband and i ate here because they allow dogs on the patio. the food was very good. it's located at a marina, so we had a nice view of the boats and water. next time we go to York, we will definitely go back.

I picked the Deck of Dockside as a lunch spot before checking into our hotel on Long Sands. It was nice to be away from the beach madness for that first drink and lunch while on vacation. The weather was excellent and called for eating outside. Service was excellent and friendly. We had shrimp cocktail, a veggie sandwich and my personal favorite, the Harvest Mixed Green salad. Food is prepared in a food truck like structure. But, the options are plenty, fresh and well prepared. Would love to go back and sit at the bar. But, I had a party of 4 so a round table was perfect. The weather has too be good for this spot to be open. Check their social media for hours.

My wife and I met friends here for lunch. The Deck at Dockside is on Harris Island in York Harbor, and has views of the harbor. It is a New England seafood restaurant, located on the grounds of a Victorian-era inn. Since the restuarant is all outdoors, being able to eat at the restaurant is weather dependent. They also have a sign in front warning of hornets, which were not all that bad. We have a worse hornet problem when we eat in our backyard. I had a tasty, modest size poke bowl with Quinoa, which did not really come in a bowl. The service was prompt. Being able to eat outside on a nice day with friends makes for a nice afternoon.

The food was good, not great. Salt is important, but not the only ingredient you can use.

Food could be better here. We have been traveling the last several weeks around the country, so getting to see a good spectrum of food. Swordfish was good, prime rib was ok, steamers were pretty bad, desserts were average (though big), and mixed drinks varied by night on quality. Porch is really nice, and the view is great.

Really good lobster roll and the fish sandwich was to die for! Great tiki bar where dogs are welcome and very well behaved. Great time here 3pm-5pm in August.

We came here for my friend's birthday and the food was incredible! I had the Pork Shank special and the meat just fell off the bone. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone cleared their plates. Our server, Charlotte, was great! The view was very pretty. Excellent evening.
