“Good beer. Went in on a Sunday morning or about lunchtime. Nice decor and pin ball machines for the kids. There was a group of dad and kids playing a card game. Had three beers and a bag of chips. When I went to leave I asked for a large plastic cup for water instead of the short ones. I was told no. Those are for beer only. Kind of petty for a five cent plastic cup but okay then...”
“Pretty good drinks! I really liked the wide range of espresso and tea lattes they had, all of them sounded delicious. We got a normal latte and a rose tea latte and both tasted good, only complaint is both were super hot but it's not the big of a deal if you let it sit for a bit with the cup cover off. Would recommend a stop here!”
“Amazing queer friendly place! Went for Carly’s Angels (which was as amazing as I remember it) but was also blown away by the service and phenomenal cocktails. From gorgeous aesthetics to palatable vegan food, this place is so worth the visit!”
“Food is prepared fresh per order. Restaurant is always clean. And the owners are super friendly and respectful of the guests.”
“My family and I had a great time here. Authentic Mexican dishes with standout finds like the cochinita, different moles, and enfrijoladas. We will definitely be coming back to sample much more from the menu, especially the pozole. Service is attentive and the restaurant is cozy with a colorful vibe just like the Mexico City neighborhood “Polanco”The chef is great and food is really high quality and fresh. As the manager said, everything is made in house and no canned foods used.We will be coming back”
“First time there for lunch. Had esplanades. They were terrific. Staff is great. Didn't have a desert but they looked really good. Will go back for sure.”
“The Chickpea dip is served warm with toasted pita. The flavor is mild and pairs perfectly with the wine. Next we ordered the Fish Goulash which is warm, crispy and delicious! For extra flavor we ordered a side of spicy lentils. They made my #5 fresh to order so it took the longest but worth the wait! Then we ordered a meat combo to go for good measure. Lol Great staff and comfortable atmosphere to share real good food with people you like since you may be sharing food and eating with your fingers. Always delicious and everyone I've brought comes back! Must try! Be adventurous!”
“I was very excited to come into this Mediterranean bakery/deli after having a chicken meat pie at an event. I came in around 6pm, most of the hot dishes had already been bought up but I was able to get a spinach hand pie and three pieces of pistachio baklava. The spinach pie was even better than the chicken I had previously had, moist and flavorful with a little kick on the back and. The baklava was the star of the show and keeps me coming back to this market. In another visit there was no hot food items but I was able to pick up some pickles, hot peppers from Palestine, markuk bread and of course more baklava. The staff are always incredibly friendly. This market offers a wide variety of items, deli/ cold prepared items, frozen items, canned/jarred pantry items, spices and more! Love this place!!”
“THE BEST DELI. EVER. ANY WHERE. BAR NONE. GO. JUST GO. GENEROUS.... NO, HUGE SANDWHICHES.CAN'T SAY ENUF ABOUT THIS PLACE.”
“Awesome new cafe. Quality of baked goods and coffee are both excellent. Seems like they are dabbling in serving food as well. Excited to see how this place develops.Would love to see some better bike parking options installed!”
“Really good! I loved the ice cream flavors. Service was great. Ambiance was fitting. Smaller place- but what else can you really expect from ice cream. We enjoyed it a lot!”
“Loved the food, atmosphere and the staff were nice. I ordered a cocktail and it was really delicious and trendy with a slice of candy And a thin slice of lemon. Food was great, had some sushi and chicken karaage. My friends and I had a great time. I would definitely go back.”
“Donna and her sous chef Cathy were excellent! Their food and company were the highlight of our girls trip! Donna was easy to communicate with, and executed our selected menu perfectly. She and Cathy offered a five-star dining experience in the comfort of our beach condo. Not only were they amazing chefs, but they were the kindest people! We loved getting to know them during our dinner. Thank you Donna for an unforgettable meal!”
“Great Sandwiches. Staff is awesome. We grab some sandwiches every time we're staying in Shelter Island to have on hand in the hotel room. Parking can be tough.”

“Anyone who said something bad about this place is either a liar or just unpleasant. This place was amazing. The greeter was friendly, and the staff was helpful and checked up on use several times. My roommate ordered a shot, and they double-checked to make sure they made it right. Wonderful Calamari, my wrap and her pasta were amazing, and the lobster Mac and cheese was to die for. Would definitely go again when able to.”
“Their food is just as amazing as their service! I've been to a similar business back in Hawaii, and both my husband and I agree that this was 100x better. Although we weren't able to try their boba drinks, I 10/10 would come back again!!”
“My wife loves this place. She makes me go 20 miles out of the way to find one. Way better than any Starbucks. I get good exercise. After drinking a "Huge" ice tea, I'm running to a restroom. I should change my name to Willie Make-it.”
“Very authentic Mexican restaurant! Had the Chorizo taco and shredded chicken taco, and I liked the chorizo the most. And both of my girls had the cheese Quesadilla with french fries and heard no complaint. And the nachos are such a large portion. Only downside is there's no cheese dip. But that's authentic for you.”
“Such an amazing bar, the atmosphere and staff are amazing and the drinks are so good. I will be frequenting the Electric Funeral again very soon.Keep up the amazing work ☺️”
“This place was soooo busy during the weekend and I LOVED to see it! However.. lol, I don't love that I wasn't able to try anything that I truly wanted. The options were sparse since I didn't come when they first opened. Shelves were pretty empty other than pan de sal and a few other bread options. They do have a fridge that contains traditional Filipino food items - pancit, menudo, etc. Although I wasn't able to try any of the pastries I wanted, the items I did try were of great quality. Both owners were at the shop when I was there. In my opinion it shows that they put their heart, soul and time into their business. Other staff members were friendly and ready to help and explain any items that individuals weren't familiar with. There is indoor seating, maybe about 15-20 chairs and a few tables. I'll definitely be coming back once the grand opening jam packed busy the entire time settles down.”
“Absolutely loved the food! Mixed kabobs and saffron rice were perfect. The people are friendly as well.”
“El Real is a pleasant Tex Mex restaurant occupying an old film theatre. The inside is decorated with fancy chairs lined up on one wall with an old movie playing on another. There are tables that can accomodate small or large groups as well as an upstairs with additional seating. Despite its large size, the restaurant seemed relatively empty even though it was lunch time. We were seated quickly and given warm, salty tortilla chips with a side of salsa. We ordered our drinks while enjoying the chips, awaiting our queso. The queso was served hot with tomato and bits of jalapeno inside. There is nothing extraordinary about the queso, but it was still a satisfying starter. We waited for our food and listened to the music playing, which was the perfect volume to still be able to hear, but also not distract from conversations. Our large group of eleven received our food shortly after ordering and were happy to see it hot and smelling delicious. I was excited to dig in to the Avocado Enchilada I had ordered. The enchilada is served with a side of rice and beans, sour cream and avocado on top. I first tried the rice which was not particularly flavorful, but worked well with the refried beans. The beans were topped with cheese and were a temperature that was just right, not to burn your tongue, but not cold. The enchilada was hot and had a rich sour cream and cheese mixture on top of the soft tortillas. Inside was warm avocado and pico de gallo combine for a salty yet fresh flavor which matched the sauce excellently. It was a dish I very much enjoyed and would recommend for a warm meal with a fresh taste of avocado and tomatoes. After we finished our main meal, we ordered dessert. I ordered the churros, presented with three churros along with ice cream and a strawberry. The creamy ice cream is a great compliment to the crispy churros. They are covered in sweet sugar and served with a side of sweet honey which brought out the cinnamony flavors of the churros. They were cooked the ideal amount so they almost melted in your mouth with the chewy inside, but still had the crispiness you might expect on the outside. These churros were probably the highlight of my meal, along with the avocado in my enchilada, of course. Overall we had a great experience at El Real. The staff was friendly and the food was delightful, leaving us all completely stuffed with the great food we had eaten. I will definitely be returning for this amazing Tex Mex experience. Although I was completely full after eating it was worth it to try the crisp churros and fluffy enchiladas.”
“Wowowowow! Bar Henry is such a great new addition to Edmonton's food scene. The latest venture from Daniel Costa is located in Henry Singer right in the heart of the ice district. The space is quite small and seats around 20-25 people. They don't take reservations so keep that in mind. Even on a Thursday evening, the tables were all full by dinner time. They have a great looking wine menu and some excellent cocktails. I was very pleased with my negroni which was ice cold and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we shared the olives, one of the cheese which was served with various breads and honey, and the roasted artichoke. The server described the artichoke as being like "vegan chicken wings" and this was spot on. It was smoky and flavourful. They rotate out the menu somewhat frequently which makes me even more excited for my next visit!”
“It’s a must to see place to visit. The ambiance, food and people are amazing. I would recommend it ?”
“Japanese Delights Sushi Roku is a welcome addition to Stanford Shopping Center and replaces long time, but ummemorable, Yucca de Lac Sushi Roku brings bona-fide street cred with their locations in SoCal (25 years), Las Vegas (23 years), and Austin The cuisine is very modern with a variety of hot and cold dishes as well as an extensive nigiri and sashimi selection (priced by the pair) Service is excellent with both our server and management staff, including general managers and the owner, overseeing their much awaited launch in the Northern California market There is a large bar area and ample indoor and outdoor seating that should be a hit with the Sand Hill crowd I've been to many Japanese-inspired restaurants so it was nice to see novelty takes and flavors on several dishes Hits for the night included fluke kumquat, Brussel sprouts and the yellowtail hanabi. Nigiri is solid though I'd opt for the a la carte selection Fluke Kumquat $25 / Yellowtail Hanabi $20 / Brussel Sprouts / Chef's Choice Roku Style Sushi $95 / Empress' Kiss $19 / Shoman Glory $19 Sushi Roku (Palo Alto, CA) Reservations are available on SevenRooms and seating is available both indoor and outdoor. Credit cards are accepted including AmEx.”
“So very good all around! Our server, Bryan, was intelligent and helpful! Wish they had iced tea and coffee to drink for our group. Prices a little high for once a week type dining, more like a special occasion meal. Definitely recommend. Oh and don't forget dessert!”
“Very nice upscale steakhouse. My husband and I brought our 3 yr old grandson with us . Everyone from owner to wait staff was very accommodating. Our grandson enjoyed shrimp , fries , mac & cheese and the chocolate gelato. I have ro day i did try his and all of his items were very good . The mac and cheese was smoky , and so good . I had the veal job , cooked to perfection . My husbands filet was cooked to order as well desserts was berries and cream , beside the delish chocolate gelato!! I would definitely recommendDefinitely going back with out grandson”
“I work nearby and go here everyday for my coffee fix! Not only is their coffee really good and helps me get through the day — but the people who work here really care about the food and service they provide. Most all of them know me by name at this point and make a conscious effort to greet me when I come in.It’s been a while since I’ve experienced that friendly and intimate coffee shop experience and they’ve got it! ^_^So glad they opened near me! Thank you Lyric and Noah for always personalizing my experience :)”
“Great service, music, atmosphere, and a fun variety of comfortable seating! Lots of natural light and a delicious dirty chai latte”

“My husband and I stopped in for an earlier dinner. I had the ribeye steak. A little hiccup with the kitchen (requested medium rare, got well done). But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server. We will request her again. .”

“Great dinner...Bob had your wonderful chili verde, a chili relleno, enchiladas, and I had the cheese enchiladas..excellent, as always. Also had the guacamole, which was just perfect..the espinaca was very good..but needs more of the spinach....please! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, it was crowded and waited a mere 15 minutes for a table..not bad on a Saturday nite..if you haven't tried this unique little restaurant, DO SO...yes, it's LOUD..yes, it is CROWDED..and yes..you might sit next to someone you don't know...WHY...? Because several different generations have been dining her for over 40+ years, they know good food, the servers recognize you and treat you well, and the owners are top notch, friendly, and care about your visit. And, if you don't try it..well, MORE FOR US THEN!!”

“The fella who’s always behind the counter (I assume he’s the owner) is just the best, he’s a super hard worker and everything is always quality. It’s also super affordable, not Park Slope prices. I very much appreciate a solid NY deli that isn’t outrageously priced.”

Culver's, the beloved Midwest burger chain known for its signature ButterBurgers, Fresh Frozen Custard and crispy cheese curds, is significantly expanding this year. The restaurant has announced it’s going to open at least 51 new locations across 13 U.S. states (including its home state Wisconsin) by the end of 2024. "There is always the possibility that we may open even more, however, the current projections and development tracks are for 51," stated Eric Skrum, Culver's Director of Public Relations and Communications.
Little Caesars, the third-biggest pizza chain worldwide, is launching a huge expansion across the United States. The Detroit company has signed several new deals with franchisees to open over 30 new restaurants in major markets including San Diego, Memphis, Tampa, and Raleigh. The big expansion plans come as pizza rivals like Marco's Pizza, Papa John's, and soon-to-arrive Freshslice Pizza are also growing rapidly across the U.S. Up-and-coming brands like Slice House Pizza are making strategic moves too, with plans to expand into Tennessee soon.
The Flyfish Club was supposed to make history as the world's first restaurant selling memberships through NFTs (non-fungible tokens). But in a sign of changing times, it has now accepted a more traditional approach - taking good old US dollars for membership. Originally marketed as an ultra-exclusive private dining experience secured via cryptocurrency, the New York City seafood restaurant has shifted to offer standard annual memberships for $3,500 (individual) and $4,000 (spouse), plus a $1,500 initiation fee.
Rock N Roll Sushi, the restaurant chain known for its fun, rockin' American-style sushi experience, is kicking off 2024 with some big moves. The brand is continuing to expand out west, opening new locations in markets like Phoenix, Colorado Springs, and central Arkansas. "Our team has been hard at work — and it's paying off with truly rockin' results," said Chris Kramolis, Chief Development Officer.
The conveyor belt sushi chain Kura Revolving Sushi Bar has huge growth plans for 2024. The company just announced it will open between 13 to 14 new restaurants across the United States in its 2024 fiscal year. That would be the highest number of new locations Kura has ever opened in a single year since first coming to America back in 2009. "Our organization has demonstrated that it's more than capable of meeting that challenge year after year, and we're excited to keep delivering on that," said CEO Hajime "Jimmy" Uba.
No chicken chain is expanding quite as aggressively as Krispy Krunchy Chicken in 2024. Krispy Krunchy Chicken, which operates quick-service restaurants inside gas stations, truck stops and other retailers, just announced plans for a truly massive expansion in 2024. The brand intends to open approximately 700 brand new locations over the next year. With the 2024 expansion, Krispy Krunchy Chicken will soar past 3,500 total restaurants nationwide.
Las Vegas is set to become even smoother. The smoothie chain Smoothie King has big plans in the area. The company is more than tripling its presence by adding seven new locations across neighborhoods like Henderson, Summerlin, and Spring Valley. "We're really proud to grow in this key market and provide delicious, better-for-you smoothies to our guests in the community," said Chris Bremer, Smoothie King's Chief Development Officer. "We welcome our new franchisees and look forward to a successful partnership."
Major fast-food chains across America are racing to install more digital kiosk ordering stations - and they have a good reason. The self-service kiosks have shown their efficiency in making customers spend more money per order. "People who ordered at kiosks rather than at cashiers spent on average nearly 10% more," Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti told investors in February. Yum! Brands, parent of Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut, is also prioritizing kiosk expansions. Taco Bell has them in all U.S. stores, while KFC should have kiosks in the "vast majority" of non-China restaurants by end of 2026.
Tony Gemignani's fast-casual pizza chain Slice House is coming to Tennessee. The San Francisco-based company just signed a deal to open 11 new locations across the state, with the first ones slated to open in 2025. "We are proud to have an experienced franchise partner on-board for the long term and look forward to offering our authentic, award-winning pizza to Tennesseans," said Gemignani.
In a major beverage switchup, PepsiCo has signed a 10-year deal to become the exclusive drink provider for all Subway sandwich shops in the United States, replacing long-time partner Coca-Cola. Pepsi products like Mountain Dew soda, Gatorade drinks, Tropicana juices, and Aquafina water will start being offered at Subway's over 20,000 U.S. restaurant locations from January 1st, 2025 onwards. It will take several months to get all the Subway stores switched over.
