The service was friendly and quick and we left with some delicious pastries and coffee. We accidentally wandered into the sister restaurant across the street, but the host kindly pointed us to the right place.“

“Dude, I LOVE their food. I've gone twice and both times they did a fantastic job. Their kimchi is so dang good, the perfect spice level and perfect crunchy pieces. I've had the ramen, gyoza, and pad thai, which are three of my favorite dishes to order in general. The ramen was perfect, if you don't like spicy this is not for you though. The pad thai was done right, the shrimp was very perfectly cooked and I didn't have to peel off the shells like most places. Overall great place, and you get exactly what you pay for. “Returned to this Italian Eatery again, as it is a great place and wanted to take a friend to lunch with my wife and I. Since I like to rate Italian Restaurants by the quality of their Meat Ball Sandwiches, I tried theirs this time! It was VERY GOOD! The only way it could have been better would be with a custom baked sub bun. (The one it was on was good for a commercial bakery!)Homemade meat balls with just the right amount of great sauce and mozzarella cheese. My wife had the minestrone soup and house baked bread, (which in my opinion should have been used for the sub I had!) She raved about the soup, and especially the seasoned butter for the bread!Will be sure and stop there much more often... Definitely a place I can recommend!“

“What a great experience! I know restaurants always have to work harder when families arrive with kids. Lalos handled everything with a pleasant attitude. Great kids menu, attentive service, table where both kids could see tvs. For a family group of six they delivered two baskets of chips and two bowls of salsa. Food was piping hot and quickly served. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. And delicious. Refills offered immediately when drinks were getting low. “Wow. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff (Robert and Ado in particular) are all outstanding. Robert greeted us as if we were already family, Ado made stellar recommendations, you really can’t get this garlic sauce and bread anywhere else, and the entrées hit the spot. “My family and I visited Grand Rapids for a weekend. I saw this restaurant recommended on Tiktok so thought we'd give it a try. On Friday, we got there around 8:20pm. On Google it says her restaurant closes at 10. We walked in and waited a few minutes before a young man was sent to tell us that she (the owner) was not taking anymore orders and would he closing at 8:30. Okay, maybe the time was wrong on Google. No biggie, we decided to go again the next day. We got there around 3:30pm. Upon walking in, I smiled at the owner and said hello. She looked at me with a rude face and did not greet us. A few minutes later she asked across the restaurant if we had reservations. I answered no. Did not see anything about reservations being required when looking online. She continued working and we continued to wait by the door. After a few minutes, she came to us and said if you want to eat here, it will be slow service, is that okay? And we told her we're okay and left. Now I understand she was busy, but both days we were not treated with warmth or felt like we were welcomed in the restaurant. The other customers she interacted with were treated kindly from what we saw. I personally feel like she does not care for black Americans, which sucks because we were trying to support her black business.“

“Food is better now, than it was a couple years ago. We started going here shortly after they opened their doors, and were frequent customers until about 2 years ago. We felt the food was subpar at best..However, about 4-6 weeks ago we returned, to see if things had improved, and they most certainly did. We've been twice in the last 4 weeks, and plan to return again in another week or so.Whatever they did the food has been changed for the better.I do feel like the wait-staff, although very very nice, did seem quite busy, perhaps under staffed. And it did show.“

“Hubby and I showed up after our movie on date night which made it about an hour before closing time. I was happy to see service was not lacking even though they might have been annoyed. So we made sure to choose our meal quickly so as not to drag this on and out of respect for those there. We ordered the meal for two and had the chicken lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, and chocolate soufflé. I was pleased to see gluten free options for everything. Honestly I haven't got a single word of criticism constructive or otherwise. Everything was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Tracy was our server tonight, possibly the best service we've ever had! The food was also great, especially the mussels and the potato skins. Fried pollack is hand breaded. Smelt battered in house too. Kids Mac and cheese, Charlie brings candy for the kids. What's not to love? If we could, we'd go every week.“

“Previous time we were there about month ago we had two prime ribs. $54.00 for both. Toughest worst meat I ever had. They took one of the Primes off the bill without question.I had the prime rib about a year earlier and it was much better. Not sure what happened here. A supply chain issue??Had half burrito and chips and salsa on last visit. The burrito was dried out.Service is fairly fast even during busy times.Wine pours are always fair.The place is always clean including the bathrooms.The visuals, colors and lighting are pleasant and relaxing.Sufficient table spacing so people aren't bumping into each other.Chairs are comfortable, but could be a little better.Great waite staff and no reflection on them. “Had so much fun here. They had an buffet set up on the day I visited (apparently the buffet is available once a month). It had a variety of different Ethiopian dishes which were really good. They came around and served top quality coffee in these cute handleless mugs. The place was buzzing with happy Ethiopian music and the staff entertained on a small dance floor in authentic traditional attire. The dance floor was open to patrons as well. They had an area with a hookah setup. It was a lot of fun“
