“A very authentic Turkish cafe, the business is very good and you need to make a reservation to dine in. There were so many dessert choices that I was dazzled. On the recommendation of the boss, I ordered a cheesecake and pistachio tart with ice cream. The cheesecake is very rich and smooth, with a dense texture that melts in your mouth. It's a bit like Basque, but has a special aroma. It also comes with chocolate sauce to go with it, but it's delicious without dipping. The pistachio tart and another plate of snacks served by the store were too sweet for us and we were not used to eating them, but they should be very authentic Turkish desserts. I also ordered a pot of Turkish coffee, which is very strong and bitter black coffee. People who don’t usually drink black coffee may not be used to it. The store also sells salty food that looks delicious, but unfortunately we were already too full and couldn’t eat much.“

I got the lemon bar, the chocolate chip cookie, a breakfast sandwich and a kale salad with chicken. The lemon bar was so delicious, with a perfect crust, and creamy inside, I ate the whole thing while waiting for my sandwich. The cookie was great as well. The sandwich which they told me was put on bread they bake in house was absolutely delicious. Great crunch, eggs and the other ingredients inside tasted so yummy. The salad tastes fresh and not soggy. The chicken is served cold, but still really good with no weird after taste. Everything was a 10/10 I totally recommend this spot if you’re downtown. Honestly, I was expecting cardboard, and instead, I got a mouthful of spectacular. That nut bread didn't stand a chance with me it was so good. I didn't tell my cousins it was sugar free or anything, and they both enjoyed it as well. I eventually shared the secret, and the look on their faces was priceless. It was truly wonderful. Much like Los Arcos, a few blocks over, it is a grocery store but has an area where you can order food and sit down to eat.I came in here for Taco Tuesday and for $1.50 per taco, you really cannot beat the price.I ordered the carne, pollo, and chorizo tacos. I found the carne and the polo to lack flavor. The chorizo, however, was definitely above average and was something that would make me return to this place.If you sit down and eat, they offer chips and salsa. The salsa is definitely some of the higher quality that I've had. It was fresh and pretty flavorful.They also served 2 verde sauces and one red sauce, both of which were in a bottle. One of the verde sauces was creamy, which was my favorite sauce of the three provided.As far as the grocery store, one thing that stood out was the large variety of drinks. There are many Mexican favorites and they also sell Mexican beer.The staff is very friendly. They also know English quite well, which isn't always the case when I go to Mexican places like this.Overall, this place is worth checking out. The service is efficient and friendly. I recommend going on Taco Tuesday when tacos are $1.50 each. The chorizo tacos are the best, in my opinion.“

I cooked one of the pizzas for the kids for dinner and I got a chance to snag a few pieces.
