“I just have to GUSH about my experience with Time Will Tell! I recently held a Birthday Party there, and it was everything I had hoped for and more! From the jump, Jake, who I worked with to plan, was flexible, helpful, and communicative. They allowed me to bring in approved catering, my own sound, and even a drag queen! Everyone loved the cocktails and mocktails, as well as the picture perfect aesthetics. I also cannot give enough kudos to the staff! They were super attentive to everyone and helpful to mostly first-time visitors. Cannot recommend enough for a drink or special event!“

“I haven't been out in a while so my daughter recommended this place I I went in a I paid 100dollars for a couple of tables! I was later approached bye a young lady and was told we had to spend at least 200 dollars for drinks and we were only at 80 dollars! Then I was told! She thought we booked online! “Brought some friends here after seeing the Oscar Shorts at DIA. It was their first time and they were delighted. The menu is so different and the food so good, we ended up over ordering because there were so many things to try. Small plates make it easy to try things. And the cocktails are particular creative and delicious. Visually, it's such fun and the vibe is warm and friendly. I've been here for brunch, too, which is delicious.“

While we did not have coney dogs, heard from others that is what they are known for. We will be back to sit at the bar for drinks and a burger.“

“I've had the Filet multiple times here and I can't honestly say that it is without a doubt the BEST STEAK I have ever had. The dry age on it creates this amazing bark from the grill and it is ALWAYS seasoned to perfection. I choose Mint29 over any other steakhouse any day of the week.“

“This is the second time I've been to this bar, both times for live music being played there. The only issue I see for it as a venue is that the stage is just as dark as the rest of the bar. They do have a nice selection of whiskey and tequila, the bathrooms are unisex and clean, and they have cute outdoor area out back, through the pea gravel isn't the best for standing.“

“Lauren, our bartender, was so knowledgeable and cool. The only true tiki bar left in Detroit. It's very authentic and a must visit. Bartenders in general are cool and make great drinks. They stick with the classics, but have a few fun shots in case you're feeling wild. We ordered the Tusk of Plenty and the Cobra Fang. Boozy. A tad sweet as some tiki cocktails are. This spot is one of the few bars that still has Green Chartreuse. The Slurricane has a few splashes. Street parking is plentiful. Easy to get to. Decor is great. Total time wrap. Definitely stop by Detroit's last tiki bar.“

“Been here only one time as a roadie for my friends band for a local 3 band show and was very impressed by the great sounds provided by the sound guy, great equipment for making the bands sounding big, good beers, lots of cool people who support local music and looking forward to going there more often to play on my band as well as see other bands! “I was searching for a restaurant or something somewhere near the Fisher Theater to kill a little time, and I walked a little and found this place. I was a little off put by the fact that my first interaction basically was "we only have 4 tops, so can you sit at the bar?" I mentioned I feel odd sitting at a bar and not ordering alcohol as I typically only drink water. I sat at the bar, and well, my server Ray was fantastic. I asked if they had hot chocolate and was told that they can make it and not only did they make it she made sure to put it in a hot cup with a lid so I could refill and it would stay hot. I then asked about some food options, and tonight, they had a few specials. One was a pizza, and one was this delicious gnocchi dish I ordered. I was excited to hear the word Gnocci as I love it. So I ordered it with the bread. I was highly impressed with this dish. My only small note would be I wish the Gnocci had remained crispy and not soft just the way I prefer it, but it was still delicious and hot and fresh. I am more than full and didn't finish the bread, thank god!! All the food looked great, and I observed nothing but great customer service. I will tell you it's on the more expensive side as my Gnocci and Bread were $18 by them selves. The portion appeared small for that price, but as I write this, I am stuffed. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit, especially if you are downtown before a show. “Legendary neighborhood bar, great picture of vanishing way of life. Plenty of space for welcoming a tour bus, plenty of intimacy to relax for a couple of hours. We visited the cigar room which has some amazing artifacts of century+ of its existence. No food but up to date drink menu, including NA beers and liquor.“

I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. “Who doesn't Love a great dive bar a hidden gem for over 25 years. Located corner of West Jefferson and Zug Island it's really easy to find. The Black Horse Cantina on West Jefferson is in an isolated and industrial part of the city. Totally unique 1950s interior with a long bar, couple pool tables and a kitchen putting out really great Mexican food. Yes Taco Tuesday and Beef Birria on the weekends. We had 3 each of the Al Pastor and Asada Tacos topped with Cilantro n Onion some Limes Salsa n more Onion's. Outstanding flavor each bite also Pollo stuffed Burrito I Loved they put it on the flattop for crispy outside. Finally a super Delicious Steak n Cheese Quesadilla. “Both me and my fiance are out of town and after eating we just took a walk downtown and found the Last Chance Saloon. The bartender Jase was very nice and knowledgeable about any kind of drink you would like. I couldn't drink because I had to drive back home that evening but he still said "well to show our appreciation of you being responsible let me make you some mocktails" and I thought that was really sweet because unless you know them personally bartenders don't do that. My fiance loved this Wisconsin Old Fashioned he tried he said it was the best one he's had. “I've been coming to this bar for years, and I've always had a great time dancing to the talented DJs they bring here. One of the great things about this venue is that they are open beyond 2am.Not once have I had a problem with security until last night. Multiple vehicles were broken into including mine. They got away with some very precious things of mine, and I'm honestly heartbroken.When I spoke with the security, they informed me that this was an increasing problem and it so happened that he couldn't do his rounds since his battery had died. All of the vehicles that were hit had parked the farthest away, so if you come to one of their late night events, park as close to the venue as possible.“

I had to knock the service a little for being slow but in their defense I was in a group of 11.Parking: Parking on the street is best but very limited. There is a large lot in the back.“
