Our party all had a lot of fun, prices were very fair, the only issue we had was our food came out badly cooked, one set of fries was burnt, the other cold and the "food staff" weren't very helpful about replacing the food/getting a refund whatever. “Our waitress cassandra went above and beyond today! Me and my mom frequent this location a lot (at least once a week) while im back home on the weekends from college. I’ve never thought to give a review but after the AMAZING experience with our waitress today I just had to. She was so kind and personable, very attentive, and made sure all our needs were met and more. We need more people like her in the service industry! The Nashville hot chicken crispers are my go to they’re delicious I hope they are a permanent menu item but I suggest anybody to try them incase they are not while they’re still here! Our chips were fresh and hot, all the food was delish, never had to even wait on a refill for our drinks because cassandra was on it! “My friends and I decided there’s no better way to spend St. Paddy's day weekend in downtown Detroit than a ride on the pedal bike. We were so right and had the best time! “I first learned of this bar from watching the Tim Robinson show "Detroiters" (fantastic, funny show if you haven't seen it). It's a chill dive bar in downtown Detroit. It's within walking distance if you're going to an event at Little Caesar's Arena or the Masonic Temple. Drink prices are a little higher than I expected. The bartenders and patrons are friendly and talkative. They have DJs on certain days of the week. Be sure to check out the mural in the back.“
“The hotel was having technical difficulties and was unable to assign our room. So they told us that we could have a drink on them. Well we headed to the WXYZ bar to await our room. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. I chose a whiskey sour and he chose a tequila sour. I had never heard of a tequila sour and had a taste of his. It was delicious. And I'm not a tequila drinker. I guess you can put anything with bitters and it will taste good. Haha. We tried some of the Bourbon punch that they offered us but that was a bit on the strong side for me. I did not see anyone ordering food, so I'm not sure if they served food but I don't think they did. They have a bunch of great areas to chill including an outdoor patio area with a great view of the bustling city. They also have a pool table that would be fun if you're in the mood. Our room was soon ready and it was time to check in. If you're in the area check this place out. You don't have to have a room there to enjoy the bar area so don't worry about that. Cheers!“
