Food was incredible, the presentation was beautiful and was really cool serving the food on the hot tablets and cooking them yourself. Want to give a big shout-out to Adeline, she was so helpful with how to cook the meat and very attentive. Best service in a while. We are from out of town and this was our first experience at this restaurant, we would definitely go back.

I visited the bar area to have a drink and an appetizer. Upon arrival, was greeted very positively by a waiter who looks like Sunshine in Titans. I was not planning on dinner, but he convinced me. I had the 6oz sirloin on a Stone. Now, sirloin is basic when it comes to steak but it was good, served with a seasoned butter, salad, and sweet potato fries. Pleasant atmosphere, clean facility ..

Absolutely love this place. Me and my wife visit anytime we are in Michigan. The food is amazing and so is the service. I always go for the black rock sirloin. Makes for a fun experience. So if you're in the area give this place a try.

Saturday- Amazing. Sunday- like a different restaurant.Went for my first time last Saturday. Sat at the bar because it was busy and no tables. Bartender was super attentive and taught us all about the restaurant and kept our soda filled. We ordered 3 appetizers and they were served very quickly. We also had 2 different people check on us to make sure we loved the food. Front of house was all smiles and so nice. We were in and out in under an hour and LOVED IT.I returned the following day, Sunday at 7pm, with my family for dinner- bragging about the amazing service. We were met with a front of house that didn't seem happy to be there and more than pleased to turn away people due to the "15 minute wait" it took them to clear an already empty table. We asked to wait at the bar for table. No one greated us at the bar and drinks came but waiter disappeared so I couldnt ask for menu or order appetizer. No one gave us menus until directly asked. Finally we get a table and menus... ordered appetizers and dinner because now it has been over 30 minutes. Appetizer served around the 55min mark-- no silverware on table. More than 30 minutes later we got the uncooked steaks... mind you the waiter doesnt ask if it is our first time, he doesnt offer to show or tell us how to cook on the stone. He walked away immediately. Luckily I had seen the viral video with the girl showing how to do it but it was pretty lame how he just dumped the food and bounced without ensuring we knew what to do. I then had to ask for silverware as we still had none (thats when they disappeared)... food was really good but this was a solid 2 hour experience with no smiles from waiter or front of house. Everyone seemed miserable to be there. Like night and day from the day before.I would recommend the Saturday staff and experience all day. Sunday was not the day to go.Price for what you get is really really good. Food is really great. To the blonde bartender gentlemen on Saturday around 5pm, you are a rockstar and gave us an awesome experience.Kid-friendliness: Great prices and options for kids.

Walked in the door and was hit in the face with a smell of either brussle sprouts or sewage. Couldn't tell which but I'm leaning towards the latter. After a run down on how the "black rock" works and then instructed on how to cook my own steak I was reminded of how fast the food comes out seeing you have to cook it yourself. While waiting for what seemed to be at least an hour a guess was complaining his potato was cold. After an hour my food arived and again I was n instructed on how to cook it. By this time After working 17 hours I was ready to skip the black rock and just eat this steak raw. I opted to warm it up on the rock. It was ok, didn't even touch the potato because it was cold. The house salad was good amd they had a pretty good selection of booze. Didn't have Chivas, didn't have fosters, didn't have Blantons (not surprised) so I had a knobb creek and a suggestion from the bar tender who was very friendly and professional. It was a but pricy for a sirloin, a burger and a flat bread pizza. The place was huge and there was only a few people so it made it uninviting. That smell was the number one reason I wouldn't make a second visit.

Food was good! ????Nice place to come with your family or friends for dinner or event. They have plenty of spot.We all know that special thing here is for you to cook your own steak on the black rock that made from volcanic rock. ?☄️cooking stones are handmade by Italian artisans from the volcanic rock of Mount Etna. The stones are crafted to the optimal thickness in order to retain heat, meaning that your food will stay hot for longer and every bite will be just as hot as the lastI recommend this place! Must try!! ??

In town for an appointment and found this place on Maps. It was everything we had hoped it would be. Started with the fried mozzarella medallions. They were just ok. The main event was being able to cook your protein on a 775 degree flat rock from Australia. I had the tour of Black Rock and my wife had the filet. Even the baked potato was perfect. Being able to cook our food right at the table was awesome. The server was great. I cannot wait to come back. I heard there was one of these in Grand Rapids. I am sure we will try it out.

Our lunch consisted of a hamburger, fries, soup three ways, salad and scallops. It was served by Duce who did amazing and with a smile. The soup was pipping hot, the salad fresh, and the atmosphere was in front of the fireplace. Very nice all around dining experience.
