Stopped in on Saturday for breakfast with a friend. We were there at opening and service was spot on. Waitress kept the coffee topped off and our meals were out quick. Eggs, bacon, toast and OJ for him and I had the Philly skillet with toast. Delicious! This place, location off State St and I 94 was busy from time they opened. Plenty of staff working tables. The prices are either really good or weirdly predatory, if you pay attention to how you order you can get an extremely reasonable lunch or dinner.My tip would be to order the coney special that comes with 2 dogs and fries because adding fries to other combos is nearing on 4 dollars and the math on the coney deal makes fries cost about a buck.The service isn't anything special and the kitchen is open which allows you to see how overworked and not happy the cooks are. Loved this local diner! Employees were so kind and food was delicious. Loved watching what seemed to be regulars hugging staff bye at the end of the night. We had tried to go to another location but it was closed so we were late and within 30 minutes of their closing but they never made us feel rushed or that we needed to hurry. Will definitely be back!
