Been coming here since they opened in 2009. Great location in the historic Nickels Arcade (similar ambience to the gallerias you see in Europe). Outstanding espresso & pastry offerings. However since the store footprint is very small, seating options can sometimes be challenging during peak times.
This coffee shop has some kind of mystic water that works with any basic pour over technique. The mystic water brings out the nuttiness with long lasting fruity sweetness at the end, instead of the common smoky bitterness with short finishes. Their use of consistent and reliable roasters including Brandywine, 49 Parallel, George Howell, and Ritual is also a plus.
