“I was surprised but the dinner belle plate of chopped steak was delicious. Have been looking for a good American owned (few left)and ran old fashioned sit down restaurant and I found it here. “My husband and I stopped in traveling from Taylor, Mi to Manitowoc, Wi and I must say I wish I would’ve known how amazing this place was during our stay in Taylor! From the gentleman who sat us, the amazing food to the awesome waitress we had it was a great experience and every time we’re back in these parts I will make sure we come back to this location! “I always love coming to The Golden Egg. The employees are warm, welcoming, and personable. I can tell they genuinely care about every guest. Recently I came with a friend and sat at the bar for the first time. We were long cashed out but still checked on very frequently by our server, other servers, and one of the cooks as we were sitting at the bar. The food is hot and delicious!“
“I go there with intentions to get a delicious homemade dessert the food is good I end up eating full meal and don’t have room for dessert. What’s wrong with me I keep going back for dessert and keep finding good menu meals. Really like their BLT choices and the omelet with spinach, Swiss cheese an ham.I’ll make that early morning coffee and dessert soon.“
