“My friend and I met here, for lunch, to catch up with each other. We enjoyed this restaurant, very much. The food was good, the service was quick. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and accommodating.“
“We ordered take out, medium nachos & crispy chicken with fries. Absolutely impressed by the size of the nachos!! The chicken sandwich is on Texas toast! If these menu items are up your alley, you won't be disappointed!!!To top it all off, the service is fantastic!!!!“
“I can’t say enough good things about our waitress alleigh and the manager on duty was a delight as well. We were there around 1:30/2am and they were BUSY. not only were they busy but the customers in the restaurant were honestly SUPER rude and confrontational for no good reason, just trying to get stuff for free. Alleigh handled it all with ease and stayed positive the entire time. Even went out of her way to do something nice for people being rude to her by paying attention to possible plating preferences. The manager handled a customer conflict quickly and respectfully within earshot as well. I will say it did take quite some time for our actual food to come but to be fair I don’t know the kitchen staffing situation and alleigh was handling at minimum 7 tables at the time!! Great job tonight alleigh!!“
“Service was fantastic! The food was cooked wonderfully and in great portions for the price. He had a wet burrito with chicken. Ground chicken was used which he wasn't a fan of, but said it was still remarkable. We also ordered deep fried green beans. They were cooked very well however, it would have been great to have a bit more flavor added to the breading (seasonings). I had the fried pollock with French fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked well done per my request and was delicious. The fries were crispy and the tar tar sauce was on point (if you like the tangy zip of miracle whip!). I was not a fan of the coleslaw. It tasted like the store bought jug one buys in large quantities. Overall, the food was absolutely worth it, the service was five star, and their drink selection is phenomenal as well, though we did not partake.“
“This is a quick place. Menu options are limited. I got the turkey dinner and it is defenitely enough for two meals. The stuffing is pretty mushy, but still tastes amazing. Plmashed potatoes are fine. I thought there'd be a little more turkey. Casual atmosphere with great service! You need to try this place out. You won't be disappointed!“
“Was just driving thru, and stopped by chance. Hands down, one the best damn cheeseburgers I've ever had! And the twisted potatoe fries were also outstanding. Definitely gonna make a trip that way again some time soon just to eat there again.“
“I had received bad news and just wanted to go out for dinner. The wait staff were amazing and I had a great supper.Parking: Be careful not to park in the strip mall, even after hours - the businesses in the strip mall aren't nice about sharing their parking lot.“
“Charming little family restaurant in Freeland. As my son and I ate an early dinner, we heard the regulars talking to the waitresses and they were all on a first name basis. The food was good! My kiddo loved the peanut butter pie and also enjoyed watching the pet squirrel eating corn outside. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Recommend.“
“Culver’s bay rd is by far the best location. We are regulars and treated very well. We always feel welcome when we walk in the door. Even if my ice cream order is complicated. The managers go above and beyond…. This is the place we pick in town above anywhere else . Not for the food but for the employees.“
“The Bay City cracker barrel off 75 is good. Has good food good service. As most cracker barrels do.Vegetarian options: They cook with a lot of pork, seasoning with it. I do like vegetable dinner you can get 3 to 4 sides. I get pinto beans, cornbread, turnip greens, fried okra, fried apples and a biscuit. Sweet tea for about $10 ?Dietary restrictions: I'm not sure, but you could ask period they're very friendlyParking: Weekdays, our best. Weekends are usually very busy. But they are very accommodating. And you can always carry out & order ahead.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly. Family diningWheelchair accessibility: Do you have wheelchair accessibility. However the store side has Narrow aisles.“
“The food was amazing and the service was nice. There's nothing bad to really talk about this place because, the workers came around once in a while and they looked like they loved their job. Besides that overall it was great I'd say one of the best restaurants I've ever been too.Parking: There was space for parking and it wasn't crowded.“
“I am from Traverse City, and stopped in while visiting my mother. She and I had a wonderful experience there. The food was fantastic and affordable. What really made our night was the service. Our server was Emily. It is rare to find people who care that much about their craft. She was exceptional and I will be back soon! Thank you so much for such a great experience!“
“We had never been to Village Inn before, but the definitely exceeded all expectations we had. Going for the 4pm all you can eat perch and cod buffet, perch on a buffet? What? and for $16.99? Yes please! It was delicious! Many other sides to choose from as well. The atmosphere was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and everything was clean and welcoming. It was super busy, but I understand why. We will definitely be back to order off the menu. Thank you Village Inn! Great job! P.S. the cheese curds we got as an appetizer were the best we have ever had!Parking: The lot can get full at busy times, but there are other parking options.“
“We went on March 21 about 1130 am no one there. Our server was a very ? ce and attentive a young man.But our Turkey bacon avocado sandwich came with no avocado easy fix but...! Great sandwich though! My granddaughter loved her build your own pizza very reasonable prices on kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Server was patient with kids“
“Dad said he didn't like saurkraut. I thought sausage & saurkraut was ok. Mom & sister liked chicken and rice soup. I also liked French onion soup. Portions were good. Mom took home some of her left over liver and onions. Cathi talked us into carrot cake dessert. It did not disappoint, it was the last piece! ?“
“We have been there a couple of times and really liked it so my mom wanted to go for her birthday and the service was outstanding! The food came out hot and made correctly. We all had dessert and it was way above what we expected. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.“
“We were celebrating our 10th anniversary. Our wedding reception was also at this facility. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Menu choices were different than those at other restaurants in the area. The dessert we selected was also excellent.“
“Went here on a Saturday at 1:00 due to everywhere else around being too busy, oddly enough, they were empty. The service was also oddly slow even though no one was there, yet, they seemed to be trying. The food was pretty good though and had a decent selection of craft beer.“
“Ordered take out pizza over the phone. When I arrived the staff greeted me and were very friendly. I arrived a little early and stayed for one drink while my pizza was finishing up. The pizza was excellent. Definitely would recommend the pub supreme. Fed 4 people for $20. Overall a great experience.“
“Took the family out tonight because we simply didn’t feel like cooking. The food was fantastic as always… no complaints on any of the food! The atmosphere was great! My kids loved listening to the Reggae music and we had a good time. However the server left much to be desired… she never came by to check how our food was, our drinks were very low for a while and she never asked if we wanted refills until we were done eating and waiting for the bill. The whole time it seemed as though the server was more interested in sitting at the bar and chatting than anything else. I do love this place and plan on returning, hopefully it was just a fluke as this is the first less than perfect experience I’ve had there.“
