“Better than the national Cajun chicken chain and cheaper too. The tenders were larger. The sides taste great! Definitely going back. More cajun side choices than the other Cajun chicken place. No line either. Only negative is no place to sit & eat at the Baroda location. Red Beans has more beans than rice - the way I like it. Trying jambalaya tonight. Wish they had real Beigneits.”

“Walked in a little after 2 pm on a Monday (7/14) and they were surprisingly busy. There were two women on the floor and they were phenomenal... A bit disappointed that there was no one else there to support them but they held their own. There was a large party and then several other tables and since we were coming to relax we weren't bothered with a wait, there really wasn't much of one. Ordered the pretzel bites and cheese garlic bread appetizers which were half odd. Garlic cheese bread was fantastic!! The ladies kept our drinks replenished and we look forward to returning soon.”

“The carne asada was tender and flavorful but not salty-perfectly made. The jalapeños are a beautiful touch to the tortas (had mine without sour cream and added mayo instead). Lastly, the fresh water (agua Fresca) was delicious and I was even given the option to mix lime & chia flavor with the cucumber lime flavor 🍋‍🟩. I will definitely be back to eat! “Frankly, DogSlinger Offers Winning Wieners Warmer days had my wife Shelly and me jonesing for summer grub, so we decided to investigate DogSlinger, located near the corner of St. Joseph Ave. and John Beers Rd. in the heart of uptown Stevensville, Michigan. Upon entering, we were greeted with giant artsy photos of each type of dog on the menu, and our mouths immediately began to water. The wall of photos made ordering easy since we could see each type of hot dog. Conversely, it made it more difficult to order because there were so many unique dogs and sausages that we wanted to try. Per usual, we did some splitsies. We started off with the Seattle Dog, which found the Vienna all-beef hot dog nestled in a cream cheese laden brioche bun and topped with freshly cut and grilled onions and peppers. The warmth of the hot dog caused the cream cheese to soften and melt into the bun. The saltiness of the dog was nicely accentuated by the mild, sweet, and tangy hints of cream cheese. I said “Yeehaw,” when I bit into the Cowboy Dog, which was wrapped in bacon, topped with cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, and some house-made crispy onion strips…oh, and then more chunks of bacon! The hickory smoke flavor of the bacon and the sweetness of the BBQ were well balanced. You’d better saddle up before trying to rustle this beast. I never thought one hot dog could fill me up, but this was one big meaty dog! The Termintater (not a typo) is DogSlinger’s version of a loaded baked potato. Somewhere near the bottom of this creation was a hot dog suffocated by a myriad of tater tots and meat chili. Nacho cheese sauce, sour cream and their house-made Slinger Sauce was drizzled over the heap before it was garnished with fresh-sliced scallions. In football, we call this “piling on!” Of course, we couldn’t leave without having the traditional Chicago Dog. It’s hard to beat this classic when it’s made with premium ingredients. A true Chicago dog must start with an authentic Vienna Beef brand all-beef frank in a steamed poppy-seed bun and topped with neon green sweet relish, chopped onion, yellow mustard, tomato slices, a kosher spear, pickled peppers known as “sport peppers” and a dash of celery salt. Do not embarrass yourself by asking for ketchup on it. Actually, they will make it for you that way, but they may razz you a bit.”

“This restaurant is in a location which has been a gathering spot in Buchanan since 1947. Much of the original décor has been maintained but some parts of the interior have been modernized to satisfy current foods. The owners and staff are pleasant, aim to please and work hard. It is worth a stop for the ice cream at the soda fountain, if nothing else.”

“Excellent food, great service at a reasonable price. My daughter and I had come to St Joseph to hang out together for a few days. The meals we had had were mediocre until we got to Ban Thai! The mango sticky rice was great and the Tom Yum soup was amazing. Definitely worth another visit!”

“The food was very good. The best part by far was the Brie in puff pastry with cherry sauce appetizer. Service was a little slow and the seating is packed a bit too close, but the view of Lake Michigan makes up for it.”

Our cake was breathtaking, they were easy to work with, exceptionally kind, and delivered and assembled the cake with no problems. We saved our top tier of cake, and enjoyed a year later, and it was just as delicious as our wedding day.”
