“I walked in and to be honest my expectations were not very high. I'm not sure why but lately I haven't been very impressed with "newer" bar/restaurants. This evening I was impressed. The New Holland brewpub -BC is pretty darn cool. It has a very clean and fresh look/vibe yet warm and homey.We sat at the bar which has plenty of seating and good views of two large TVs. The bar maid was quick and attentive without being overbearing.I ordered the pulled pork and I was wowed. Great flavor and portion on a warm soft roll with slaw and a delicious sauce. We got the veggies (carrot, celery, cucumbers) as the side instead of fries and regretted it as they looked fabulous. Shoestring style. My favorite.My dining partner has the bluegill tacos and she was very pleased. They were tasty, good sized portion and recommended.Overall. The vibe is fun, the drinks are good, food is quality. “Hadn't been in well over a year as they had several food items on the menu that were not available, but everything was available and good this time around. The Spedunkel was tasty, as was my olive burger. The rest of my group seemed to enjoy their drinks and food. Olivia was an excellent and attentive server, though the place was not particularly busy for a Saturday evening. The dining area is a bit dark making it a bit difficult for this old man to read the menu, but all in all a good, reasonably priced evening out.“
“Great spot to hang out with some friends. Not the easiest to have a conversation when they have a band on stage. To be clear, I say that as more of a heads up for everyone that see's this review rather than me complaining about how loud live music is.“
