Barney's Bar & Grill is a cozy neighborhood spot in the South End with excellent food, especially the polka bites and pulled pork Mac and cheese. The 1/2# burger and Burban burger are hits, served in huge portions. The drink selection is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff, including Erin the bartender and Jose/Carlos the cook, are friendly and provide fast service. Keep in mind that parking on the street can be tight during peak hours.
