Wow WOW WOW.... My GF saw a post on Facebook, so we made the plan and drove over an hour and made our way to Gilly's... We walked in and was a bit shocked... Not very many tables but was shockingly it was REALLY busy... So we had read and reread the post and decided that we were going to get the specials (street corn/steak taco and the steak burrito, then decided we were going to try the birria tacos and the tamales) OMG.... Anyone can make a taco - the measure of a good Mexican restaurant is the beans and rice. And so many places in America do those poorly that I think people just get used to having them and not eating them.If you want to taste these dishes done the way they're supposed to be, Gilly's has got it. The love, the flavor - it's perfect.Also the puffy tacos were a really delicious and fun twist.Nothing here is going to disappoint you.
