It's a nice place in the building where Martha's Market was on Johnson St. The food was pretty good. The service was excellent. It was an unexpected experience. They have many other food items for sale. Such as hot sauces, menudo and items you can't get in a normal grocery store. Enjoy another experience in a city with rich history, Bay City. ?Parking: Small parking lot out back. Street parking also.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm handicapped. The back entrance was adequate to enter with a wheelchair. I opted out as I thought it easier to walk in. It proved to be challenging but worth the struggle.

Wow WOW WOW.... My GF saw a post on Facebook, so we made the plan and drove over an hour and made our way to Gilly's... We walked in and was a bit shocked... Not very many tables but was shockingly it was REALLY busy... So we had read and reread the post and decided that we were going to get the specials (street corn/steak taco and the steak burrito, then decided we were going to try the birria tacos and the tamales) OMG.... So awesome and great! Definitely authentic and everything was definitely homemade! She told us it would be 20 min... And now I see why! There had to have been at least 5ppl come in and pick up orders while we were waiting for our food... While there don't have a liquor license... They definitely make up for it with the quality of their food! I absolutely can't wait to go back .. thank you Gilly's crew!!! Top notch in my book.

Anyone can make a taco - the measure of a good Mexican restaurant is the beans and rice. And so many places in America do those poorly that I think people just get used to having them and not eating them.If you want to taste these dishes done the way they're supposed to be, Gilly's has got it. The love, the flavor - it's perfect.Also the puffy tacos were a really delicious and fun twist.Nothing here is going to disappoint you.

My first visit today and I am extremely happy I decided to walk in.Wonderful and warm inside. Great places to huddle up with friends and family throughout the bistro.Gilly is proud of his craft, and it shows in the service of his tasty menu. Today I had the Wet Burrito. I recommend treating yourself to that giant two day lunch.Seriously everybody...GO!You will thank when if we meet.Parking: There is a lot behind the bistro, with an entrance in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space...everything so clean and accessible.
