I tried the hooper skillet. And my husband tried the biscuit with gravy and bacon.Mine was okey. The food was worth the price. But my husband said it's greasy.So he doesn't finished it...
I dine frequently at Hoppers, typically for their breakfast. The relaxed atmosphere is like popping in to visit an old friend. Even when they're busy (which isn't unusual...and there's a reason for that) they're prompt and personable. The menu includes a substantial variety of choices , yet avoids the many paged, encyclopedia-like menus we see at other places. Very much a mom and pop type place, the pancakes are so tasty and the servers are ALWAYS friendly, not pushy or rude like other places. The cook will even come out sometimes to talk with us. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay open long enough. It would be nice to have dinner there on some cool, crisp summer night then relax outside on the bench. Or just have a good, relaxed place to eat dinner.
