“Food is good most of the time. The only downside is that they are always filled with new inexperienced employees and overworked hours, which means longer wait times. Better to be polite, because for the prices you shouldn't be expecting a masterpiece.“

“The food is always delicious and fresh. They update their menu with new specials often and it’s fun to try drinks and foods the come up with. My favorite is the California Burrito with Takis, very unique. The steak quesadilla is also good!“

“Came here for the first time and LOVED it. Our waitress, Meg, was so sweet and attentive. The other staff were also attentive, making sure we didn't need any coffee or water refills. I had the sirloin steak breakfast and my husband had the breakfast tacos - we both enjoyed our meals thoroughly. The steak was perfect. Would DEFINITELY come again. (By the way, this place was packed and I can definitely see why - although for 2 of us we had no wait, there was a larger party waiting). Also, highly recommend.“

“Our second visit to Sabroso and the kids ate every bite! Win for everyone!! We highly recommend the Supreme burritos! You can't finish it there's plenty to eat later and it'll still be delicious!!Kid-friendliness: Our kids had the walking tacos ? highly recommended for children!!“
“Menu is different than the one in Benton Harbor. Food is great- authentic Mexican. Portions are large. A lot better than stopping at ANY fast food place and getting fried, processed junk.Didn’t look at the meat selection or grocery area but it looks like they are set up like the one in Benton Harbor.“

“Food was amazing as usual! My only complaint was that they brought me cheese instead of chicken enchiladas, but they quickly fixed it once I let them know.Dietary restrictions: I keep kosher and there are many great kosher options!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and the servers are very nice to the kids“

“Make it a point to stop by this local Taqueria! Family owned, authentic Mexican food. I had the al pastor & steak tacos w corn tortillas, cilantro & onions. Reminded me of Chicago & my visits to Mexico. Very kind staff. Looking forward to another visit.“

“Food: 4/5 (mouthwatering meals!)Service: 5/5 (very kind and accommodating)Atmosphere: 3/5 (okay vibe)I experienced El Sol Azteca today, as my tastebuds craved Mexican food. Very delicious spot in Saint Joseph, Michigan. I had the whole restaurant to myself, so I sat and myself at home. Just to note, there's an 18% dine in tip added to your bill if you decide to eat at the restaurant. But I had a lovely experience. The food was succulent! My plate came out hot and straight from the flattop or grill. I had my favorite Mexican dish in the world, Birrias! The shell was crunchy and flavorful, the dip was dip-tastic, and I enjoyed every piece of meat that fell on my plate. I also had the flavorful Mexican corn and tried the fabulous nachos! I appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa, but if I'm honest, the rice and beans that came with the birrias platter fell flat. The service was appreciated and great! We were greeted with love, and the menu was explained great! The server was amazing and made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere was a little dark and flat. However, there appears to be some action going on at night at this restaurant, as there was a DJ Booth, Barbie picture setup, sombrero hats, and more to enjoy! I believe the time I came in was not a hot time slot. All in all, there were some really GOOD stuff at El Sol Azteca and some things that could be better. I'm grateful for this lovely restaurant!Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options on the menu.Kid-friendliness: There's a kid-friendly full menu! Kids eat for $3.99 on some days! My son's quote about his meal, "This is one of the best meals I ever had."Parking: There was plenty of parking when I went. However, the free parking lot is small and awkward to park.Wheelchair accessibility: There's plenty of room for wheelchair accessibility.“

“The service is great , regardless of how long the line is they always try to get people out as soon as possible. This place is one of the best when ordering online! Most places around here make me wait , this place always has my order ready to go when I show up! When I eat indoors the place is a bit dirty, a little cleaning once in a while of the tables and such would be nice. However, the food tastes good, their salsa bar is always stocked, and they are fast at getting you what you need.Vegetarian options: Not the greatest flavor for the tofu, but the other ingredients make up for it .Kid-friendliness: They have great servings for kids and options.“

“I had their oxtail soup which was EXCELLENT!! The rice was so perfectly fluffed. The oxtail was SUPER tender. The plantains were plain but still excellent! Their horchata is FRESH not premixed. Omg soooo good! My husband had the curry and jerk chicken. The chicken was FULL of flavor. I love how they have two different cultural foods in one restaurant. GREAT JOB MELENDEZ FAMILY!!!“
